Sky Sports sources understand Gylfi Sigurdsson has agreed terms and passed a medical with Tottenham and will complete his move to White Hart Lane from Hoffenheim next week. by @skysportsrobp Bit of a strange one this!, thought the move to you's would be knocked with Brendan going (should of never went to Liverpool, end of his career imo, was doing very well with yous) but you or liverpool would be the ones to get him... Tottenham signing him is a sign of VDV going too i imagine Swans fans happy about this?
Yes I'm happy as he was over priced, would have liked him to stay but there you go, we are not breaking our wage structure for a maverick player
Money talks. he offered to come to us if we double his wages to £60,000/week when he originally accepted £30,000 in the first place before liverpool came on the scene, now spurs have offered him more than liverpool so he tried us again and our chairman said fcuk off....and rightly so.....he is obviously on the £50,000 mark with spurs and ill tell you now its £50,000/week down the swanney,,,
Bold move for him, especially as they haven't confirmed a manager yet. I really thought he would have signed for Liverpool knowing that Rogers would have given him a chance. Would have liked to see him sign for us, but I'm sure Laudrup has other options which could work out for the better
I'd have liked to have signed him but wasn't particularly happy that we were prepared to pay £30,000 a week to him in wages. That's ridiculous for a club our size. If Laudrup's plans to trim the squad come to fruition then yes, we can push the boat out and attract better players by offering them more, but not with the squad size the way it is. Seems to me that lessons aren't being learned and things won't change until a big club goes under. Bring on the Financial Fair Play Rules I say. Hopefully that'll sort a few out.
i said a few months ago that he was a flash in the pan but he'd be swayed by bigger money at a bigger club. nice to see you've come round to my thinking, albeit a few months later
Who is saying he's a 'flash in the pan'? Can't you read? I actually said I'd wished we'd signed him but those wages were too high for my tastes. Btw, I find it disgraceful that a mod from another forum should wum over here, or anywhere else for that matter. Then again, bearing in mind your disgusting support of the odious aber after he threatened terrorwit with violence recently I shouldn't be surprised. Now piss off and concentrate on supporting Kuala Lump-it-up-the-field. Was at the gym today, aswan. She wasn't there. Probably already bought membership of a swanky health club up in the Smoke. Double
why am i banned swamp, would appreciate a pm to inform me i was banned and the reason behind it, think our mods should ban swamp if there is total swans banning on their sight
Good player but not the best we've had in that position, matter of fact Ferrie Bodde would eat Siggy for breakfast, Jenkins and Laudrup were right not to get into a bidding war, Spurs have paid too much for him, and he'll not shine so well in their setup in my view, but wish him all the best!..................
Good WUM , you also said Cardiff city would be getting financial backing to the tune of a £100m.. If gylfi can Get 60k a week at Spurs then good luck to him,There may be a few who feel let down but we never really thought he would be ours until he was in the shirt running out onto the field. I bet you were shocked when we stumped up a 7m quid offer with 30k a week wages, most jacks were, our chairman is first class and we dont need to worry about what he is doing,he is first and formost a fan, unlike your ting tong ladyboy owners., who its fair to say Are the real Flash in the pan...or should that be wok! As kj said those wages were a bit high for us so im glad in one way but gutted in another, the deal is now set for him to sign for Spurs and joik us on Loan with us and Spurs splitting the wages, Clever our club see..
yes NJ they've 'invested' £41m so far, factor in another £10m for langston, increase stadium capacity to 35,000, new training ground, players etc.....its a 'headline figure' the £100m... and kangaroo talking about 'disgraceful' behaviour i think you need to look at yourself son, the way you treat the likes of norway and dai to name but 2 is disgusting and you should be ashamed of treating your fellow fans with such contempt. anyways, i wont sink to your level and embark on a long, drawn out little argument, sorry!
I guarantee no swans poster has posted anything even close to that vile **** thrown at terror the other day.
You are full of ****, the way you are supporting someone who was posting ****phile comments is as sickening as the ****er commenting. A complete disgrace! And you have the audacity to come here criticising the moderators on here handling an argument between a few people. They may not like each other but I am sure they would all agree about how sick that rubber twat is in those comments. Now I suggest you **** off before you are banned from here
