Type 'QPR' and 'ambition' into Google and have a look at the first few hits. It seems to me there is a party line that emphasises 'ambition' as a key factor that might have influenced a player to sign, consider signing or the attitude of the board, the manager etc. I am not at all critical but I think MH is desperate to vindicate his statement at leaving Fulham about their lack of ambition. If that means signing quality players with plenty of ambition to match the manager's and club's ambition, well that works really well for me! Just makes me chuckle a little too. 50 days and 45 mins to kick off!!
Dont get the Fulham fan started on "ambition". It will give him fits. Its not about where we are now, its about where we are in the future, new training ground, academy and stadium.
Mate, I think you may be in trouble. Two strikers to your geographically near rivals and Pogrebnyak off to who knows where. No whiff of any signings (admit, long way to go) and an owner who may just be losing interest. Aren't you worried at all? I would be.
