Watch the Bolton game on MOTD and was very impressed with Sturridge, not sure what the terms of his loan deal is, buy options, etc. I wish SB would go for him in the summer, he'd be a perfect partner for Gyan.

The way Sturridge is playing, I reckon we've got a better chance of getting Torres!!

Be exceptional buy. Will SB be here tho. Think ES may be asking serious questions as to what managers are available, what ambitions they have and do they match his and Nialls

Can we not have Owen Coyle why we are there, he's had Bolton playing some cracking footy this season.

    I agree with this.

Sturridge is a very talented and strong player, if we had Wellbeck as well we'd have the future of Englands frontline, plus Gyan, Campbell and Noble.

Not beibg funny but Ciy paid about 20 million for this lad. He is hot property n been brilliant on loan. Reckon if he is for sale it be 25+ million and will be heading to bigger clubs than yours n mine. Just wont happen mate.

Sturridge's contract had ran out at City.

The transfer fee was set by a tribunal which is normally a pittance. I think the main stumbling block will be wages, both City and Chelsea wanted the lad on their books.

Neither club are renowned for being frugal in the wage department.

Was gutted that we couldn't get him as we already had the maximum 2 domestic loans, especially as Welbeck was crocked at the time so wasn't being at all helpful.

To be fair mate, i think he is Chelsea class, potentially, and i think Drogba for sure, and maybe Anelka will leave, meaning he may well get games there next season.

He's different, and different is good.

I would only get him if Welbeck doesn't stay. We need a big striker! I hear Stoke have this big Trinidad striker....

I'm excited to see Campbell back. Pace and energy in abundance. Could well nick a crucial goal before the end of the season. You never know...

****, I forgot about Campbell! When he's fully fit, we should have 3 great strikers. KTF.
