    Morning Everyone, Its frisky time......

Cannot believe how details of the takeover have not been leaked yet.....

Where is the money coming from? Is it from the middle east? Is Duncan Revie behind it all? Has Bates already packed his bags?

Will anyone look back on Bates reign with any fond memories of him, when he has gone?

The Millwal v Leeds game has been put postponed 24 hours as it promises to be a goal fest and is going to be covered by Sky.

The transfer saga continues. Is the takeover going to hold things up?

Morning Elland. Old adage - Its not over 'till the fat lady or bearded one sings. No fat ladies in this performance, but we do have a beared one. The sooner its finished the better. Then Warnock can move this side forward apace. Right Manager, right time.

I will remember some of Bates' time fondly. He stabalised the finances of the club. That in itself was no mean achievement. He was always a bit of a marmite character - Love him or hate him. Let's hope we end this season with auto promotion as champions. In Colin we trust. MOT

If he's Brazilian, he'll need a work permit. Does he play for the national team? Time will tell.

    Morning.

Bates could have been a legend, his strong willed attitude & character should have complimented our own.
Say what you want about his time at Chelsea, but he always backed his managers & helped turn the club around (but built too much debt).

He took us out of crippling debts and did well to shake off Krasner, Richmond and Co. Yet as everyone does I wonder why he kept Geoff Richmond's errand boy (Shaun Harvey)?

At Leeds he seemed to have learned that he needed more fiscal responsibility & a tighter ship, after what happened in the Ridsdale era the fans would have supported this if he had involved us in the battle. Yet he sadly he got it wrong on too many occasions and his lack of openness & broken promises over transfers caused the fans to turn on him & in return Ken turned on the fans.

I imagine the Chelsea fans had much shorter memories than the Leeds fans, he probably thought it did not matter what he did as the next signing would smooth the water etc, I don't believe Ken understood the core differences between Londoners and Yorkshireman (+ some Scots). We really don't forget and once we take up a grudge or adopt a position we don't change it.

I like what he did with the stadium rebuilding, for example the South Stand looks a lot better than before, plus with the work on and in the East Stand completed, any new owner in future years we can rip down the old Banqueting suite and rebuild the West Stand with great ease as a result, this should not be overlooked. He was right to start the rebuilding off the pitch, he just neglected the rebuilding on it a little too much.

I do hope he goes so I can buy a season ticket and enjoy the games again, yet a small part of me will miss the old dog & his programme notes.

Phil Hay is a very poor journalist....

Anything he says should be taken with a pinch of salt...

It seems he gets all his reports from Social Media, so at least he will see this comment and realise that I for one realise it.

Can't wait for it to be over because the rumours are getting silly now. I still can't get my head around why nothing has leaked, besides negotiations were taking place a few weeks ago. Chinese mentioned and they have cash and have been in Leeds, due to Olympic traing camp. Duncan Revie and the middle east guys, Canadian guys, Chicago guys, Californian guys. ...... We have no idea and all we do know is; that whoever it is is looking for at least 30% of the company, which could also mean a complete takeover. lets hope the deal gets done so that we can move on from Bates and co.

If the DD shows the potential new owner that he's being sold a donkey and so pulls out. What truth is there that there were others waiting in the wings to do a deal?

Morning all - No fond memories of Bates, he took us into receivership, he took us into division 1 and he has bled us dry, can't wait to see the back of him. Can't see us signing unknown Barazilian players, I think Warnock will stick to tried, tested and proven.

To be honest although I would love to gain promotion next season I would settle for a good solid foundation. A squad who's nucleus won't be broken come January, a squad that we can add to this time next season without debate of who we are going to have to sell
