.... I'd demand Martin Kelly in part-exchange. He has looked like a really decent player this season before he picked up an injury.

If they say no then it's no deal.

I'd rather Jose went to Milan for £13 million than to a rival for £15 million. With players returing to fitness and some good summer signings then there's no reason why we can't aim to finish above Liverpool next season. Not saying we will, but they'd be within our sights. At best they're going to finish 6th this season, next season we can aim for 6th / 7th 8th.

 

Agree with the Kelly bit. I'll prefer he went to a CL club like Barca(won't happen but we can wish) or Milan who have ageing LB's.

 

Agree about Kelly, if Enrique were to go anywhere i'd love him to go to Barca, would fit in well there and he's spanish.

 

If he really wants to win the biggest prizes (league titles and champions leagues) then he isn't going to do it at Liverpool. He might get a Carling Cup or UEFA Cup but that would be it. If a big Spanish or Italian side came in I think he'd jump at the chance.

 

Barca will need a left back soon as Abidal is ill / ageing. If he was at Barca he's instantly be first choice Spanish left back.

 

I'd just take money to be honest, Liverpool have **** full-backs. It'd have to be a substantial amount though.

I agree on the second point, would rather he'd go to an overseas team if he really wants to leave.

 

The spanish team would certainly be an incentive for a move to Spain, even if it were with a smaller team (Valencia, Athletico etc.)

 

Sporting Gijon? Swap for Angel + £15 million?
