I seem to remember Tony Coton being a very bad lad before GT reformed him. It depends on the individual, TD has to prove his character and will, a job for those close to him to evaluate not us.
I didn't tell you anything of the sort. I didn't mention any member of my family, close or remote. In the unlikely event of anyone attacking someone I know in my presence I hope I would try and help them. Kicking the head of someone already on the floor I hope I would not. You obviously know TD well enough to vouch for him, though I didn't know of your expertise in relation to the Krays.
I never said i do know him. See post #87 I also know that the Krays did far more than just fight. For starts they killed 2 men. So the two cannot be compared.
If you don't know him, you're not in a position to judge his future behaviour. The point of mentioning the Krays, which seems to have escaped you, is that just because people are nice to their own family it does not mean that they are necessarily lovely people. I shall now conclude my comments on the topic and would not have bothered to go on for so long but for some irritating misinterpretations of things I have said. I'm happy for you to disagree with me, indeed I'd expect it, but I do tend to rise to the bait when my own words are not accurately represented.
TCs years of bad were before he arrived with us but obviously age wise he was a wee bit older than TD. The era was different and footballers weren't the spoiled br*ts they tend to develop into these days, my point is that we really don't know Deeney and there are many in the club employed in positions and paid to make these professional evaluations and decide based on facts not rumours or speculation. I'm very splintered on the fence here as I don't know deeney personally, instinct in fact is that he is more of a Marlon than Tony but only instinct no fact. How the club act should depend on their perception of his character and future actions, I've already said I wouldn't want to see him in a yellow shirt again but that's my old age creeping in with a hard line prejudiced view on all anti social behavior.
