Saw this on facebook earlier, I especially liked the bit that they want to finish top 2 this season to avoid the play off lottery. I'm now looking for someone who can repair a laptop with coffee spat all over it <laugh>

I just had to copy this over from facebook...

BREAKING NEWS: Vincent Tan is a Jack. It has emerged today that cardiff city chairman Vincent Tan is actually a property developer from Mumbles who's real name is Shadwel Evans. Suspicions arose recently with it being evident that he has been well and truly shafting the club and it's fans. In a statement today, Evans (Tan) said "I admit it, I bought the club from a peg seller on Lamby way for £15 and a goat and saw it as a good opportunity to put the dirty scum to the ground once and for all. I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you pesky reporters" he went on to admit that the plan was to turn their traditional blue kit to a pink one over 3 seasons, going red first to soften the blow. "The look on their scummy faces when I promised them 100 million was priceless" he said "with an interest rate of 7%, it's the easiest 7 million I've ever made in my life. The next thing I need to do is to make Sam Hamman club president, that will really take the p!ss"

I can't help but feel that "there but by the grace of God go I"... there have been plenty of wummers coming from their boards before (they seem to be a club like QPR and Leeds that has its fair share of that) but they are out-weighed (to be fair) by a number of decent lads. Remember that empty drums make the most noise.

I was even quite impressed by Bellamy last year, praising the structure and ethos of the Swans. He did make it clear that he would have preferred Cardiff to go up, but he was, to a degree, happy as a Welshman. He was also smart enough not to denegrate us for the sake of it but, instead, highlight some areas his own club should focus on emulating. No doubt painful truths but something that had to be said. I suspect that if he was running things there they would be up with us.

In all honesty, though, whilst I do miss the derby games, I wouldn't want them in the prem:

    a) I do resent the Cardiff bias of the Welsh press and, more importantly, what they are seeking to achieve with this.
    b) I do worry that they are a city that has a lot of investment in its infrastructure sat between us and England, potentially gobbling up the same transfer targets.
    c) I do resent that, like Rangers, that success would represent a lack of financial fair play.
    d) and I do worry that if they went up, we would have two derby games, rather than two games against a random other promoted team - it would only make our life harder.

I've always enjoyed the rivalry and, to a degree, it is a bit of fun to chuckle at your rival when things don't quite go their way. However, this is more than that. This is becoming a lot worse than a missed pen or a one-off relegation. The behaviour of the owners is very, very worrying for the survival of the club and I wouldn't wish the Rangers situation on my worst enemy or, indeed, the Wimbledon situation (what would stop these people from trying to relocate if it doesn't work?).

From the meeting notes, it seems the managers are either witholding information or in the dark - both alternatives are worrying. I don't really see the change of colour and identiy working (I'm confused - didn't the Malayasian national team play in blue at one time? Wont they be putting themselves up in competition with Man U and Liverpool for selling shirts? How will Cardiff appeal to fans there if they're in the championship? It doesn't seem thought through and the comments in the meeting seem to back up that concern).

It feels like seeing a ref hit by a ball in a game: there's an initial chuckle and then you realise that he's stayed down and it knocked him out and it starts being very worrying indeed.

So, "there but by the grace of God go I". I feel very sorry for what their fans are being put through.

just read a cardiff paper that states that Sam the man has had a meeting with tan about money owed to Langston and tan has offered Sam 3 options to repay the debt to him, in one of the options they included a life presidency in the club...Sam has rejected all 3 options and told them what he can do with his options...
Now as far as my mate who is a cardiff fan was led to believe tan was to put in £100 million to clear all debts in exchange that cardiff will ditch the bluebird brand and change to red shirts with a dragon as their badge and the word in big letters MALAYSIAN across their shirts,
now in a prominent cardiff paper they have not put £100 million into the club at all and are still millions in debt that is growing monthly. they want to pay SAM in installments or at the end of the season in full IF they reach the premiership........If i was a cardiff fan i would want to know where is this £100 million and why are we still owing sam and others money when the deal for re branding was to settle all debts....
have they been sold short by these Malaysians to get their own way while seeing cardiff and heir tradition defunct on false promises....It looks like they have been conned again.......

Superb post, Goodland. Lot of sense there. <applause>

Thing is the fans seem to be too busy patting each other on the back to see the dangers of what is happening with their own club. That said, I for one am far more interested in what lies ahead for the Swans, and we shouldn't really concern ourselves with lower division clubs until it becomes apparent who's coming up and who's going down.

I used to pop over quite frequently to have a wum but even that's stopped being fun any more. They're very prickly these days.

I imagine they're prickly because, no matter what they say, they have these same concerns over what is happening and they fear that, as Swans fans, we would not have the sincerest motives in commenting on it.

Ultimately, I am a Swans fan. I want us to continue to play in the Premiership and taking the club as far as we can. It isn't just a game because it does so much for the community.

I am, however, a Welsh fan. I've supported Wales and that has meant cheering on Bellamy, Earnshaw, Gabbidon, Ledley etc. Wales v Italy, featuring Bellamy's winning goal against the Italians, is one of my favourite games. So I wouldn't want the worst to happen to them.

The Welsh team will only continue to grow with two good welsh teams. Ideally, I'd love to see Wrexham and Newport doing well too. Maybe Prem-Swans, Champ-Cardiff, League 1-Wrexham, League 2-Newport.

Being too vitriolic against our rivals is exactly what scuppers BBC Wales/Wales on Sunday. It shows us up as a nation. I love the competition, loved Emnes scoring away, and I wouldn't cry over them being relegated but I would never want to see them go out of business.

Who nows where Cardiff are heading, but losing 1 Million a month, tells you the club is not run right, and unless this hemorrhage is stopped, then Cardiff will go into admin, maybe the best thing, but bringing Haman back is bizare!................. <ok>

I won't miss them if they go under (i don't wish it upon them but don't particularly care either) ,I remember the reaction from them when we were in the **** . Rather see Wrexham up with us , a club which has had some pretty hard times lately but on the up

you have to feel sorry for them being told a great story by tan and co that seams all nice and rosie but in reality it is far from rosie......If these people are billionaires then they are not keeping their promise to clear all debts. You dont give options to someone you owe money to ffs, you do what you said you would do in exchange for re branding and taking away cardiff's identity....you have to feel sorry for the growing amount of fans who are so angry that they wont comply with the malaysians and will boycott the club they no longer have any identity with...it is a shame but thats what happens when you get dodgy foreigners onboard, Its not about cardiff anymore its about how much they can make in malaysia, they are getting conned slowly but being conned all the same and its not for the benefit of the fans. they will end up as puppets being shown parading in red shirt with a dragon logo for the malaysian fans who will have a team to support in british football...cardiff is just a base that they can use for their own ends with not a thought for the genuine cardiff fan....and they wont care as they have got what they want ....a club of their own cruelty taken away from cardiff fans....
