    I drove past the bus station in Jesmond and every engineer there had downed tools and was stood staring at the sky. Its just one those human interest things. Its like a car crash, everyone has to have a bit rubber neck.

    Floods are spreading from the fields on to the paths. My estate is circled with water.

    Watch till the end to hear lightning so loud it ****ed up the cameras noise!

    Belfast had it last night - rivers in the streets and lightning during the football...luckily everyone was coming to my house to watch it so I got to sit in and enjoy it!

    My next door neighbours garden; all that separates it from our back field is a fence, his garden is now all a foot under water rofl.

    He just came round to say he's never seen anything like it in his life lol
