I don't want Rangers to play in England because I can't understand what English fans are singing about.
no IF you are found guilty (after appeal) of tax evasion (by using a scheme illegally) THEN you will have been able to attract better players than the rest of scottish football by financial doping THUS giving you an unfair advantage this isnt complicated - it isnt hmrc closing a loophole - its rangers incorrectly using the scheme to attract players
So when is the trial to prove that all the players joined us for financial reasons (as thats clearly the case because timmy said so) As usual your all acting like a bunch of fannys and over complicating something that doesn't need to be complicated. You lost due to having worse players on the pitch, take the beating and stop being little bitches about it.
I was not aware that The Rangers forum was off limits to Celtic fans? I don’t care what you think about Rangers, I explained clearly what my issue with your rant(s) was, so you are either: A: Unable to read B: So beeled up that you never noticed it C: Unable to answer a straightforward question. I don’t care about “religion”; it was YOU who brought the “Irish”, “Catholics”, and “Priests” et al into this? So, are you going to answer my question? Have Rangers fans “only” offended Celtic fans? Is it ONLY Celtic fans who have grassed them to the Police? We both (or at least I hope so) know the answer so why don’t you calm down and admit you were talking through your backside.
???? im not saying all players joined you for financial reasons but, and lets be real for a moment here, it is alleged that klos was, at one point, getting better money than david beckham as a result of his ebt! given that 10 of your players have walked away for financial reasons (some of whom are "rangers men") is it not reasonable to assume at least some came because of the money on offer??? it wasnt european glory or exposure by playing in a big league! "as usual" - thats just boring mate - i could generalise and say "as usual you lot shout "**** the polis" because some arsehole did it last night at a demonstration - no one is over complicating it - it is ****ing complicated! no doubt the best players on the pitch win a league (stick your tainted title ) - the point is that you were abusing the system to attract these players. me? id just say "so what - its done - too bad - dont bother stripping titles etc - they have to live with the "cheats" moniker and that will do fine" but IF it is proven then im sorry but there is no doubt, none whatsoever, that you cheated
Can we not just chill out a bit about this. When I was self-employed I tried to fiddle a wee bit from the tax man. It's just like getting a plumber or electrician to do a wee homer for you. You get the job done a bit cheaper and he gets cash in hand. No big deal.
I'm desperately trying to get involved in tit-for-tat posts on here these days. 1. The "thought it was legitimate" bit - they knew all along that the WAY they used the legitimate method was against the rules but continued to use it (it was against the rules to begin with, no "but EBTs were legal til 2001" stuff, they were never intended for non-discretionary payments). 2. The only way Rangers could "afford" to have the players they did was to employ a dual contract system (which is against the rules) in order to implement using EBTs in a way that wasn't legal (therefore, against the rules). 3. If it hadn't been for an over-friendly bank, Murray would never have owned Rangers at all - Halifax took over/merged with BoS and were appalled at the overdraft Rangers were granted - that was the beginning of Rangers problems. Lloyds then felt that HBoS hid the real scale of Rangers debt from them after another merger (under the new FFP rules, this would all be against the rules - at the time, it wasn't - it was horribly unethical but it wasn't against the rules). Cue a few responses whitabooting all over the place. If something is against the rules, but is pursued, is it not cheating? Rangers could not afford the players they had without cheating the league and the taxpayer. Do you think these players would come without the financial incentive? As for having worse players on the pitch, that is what is about to happen for the next 10-20 years to whatever Govan abhorration is allowed to play football - I'm sure you'll be equally vocal in suggesting that this is because this team are "losers".

If the EBTs were ever "Legal" then why did Rangers not register the second contracts with the SFA? The 2nd Contract was a convenient way to pay players (they could not otherwise have afforded) without having to pay the Tax due and that's why Rangers kept them a secret. Because they were illicit. Ben Johnson won the Gold at the Olympics, he never cheated, he just used a performance enhancing drug which is against the "rules". He won the Gold yet it was stripped because he gained an unfair advantage over everyone else.
Boring, Baldy, Bastard. No **** gives a ****. How much time do you spend composing these long winded boring posts with italics and bold words with random differing fonts? Jezus Russ, you're 52 and still acting like an excitable teen on meow meow.
