Everything is better with hindsight but the fact of the matter is Murray and co believed in they're scheme as being a perfectly good tax avoidance scheme. And now because the HMRC decided to crack down on it, everything the players won (by skill not by the size of their pay slip) then by default we cheated for the last 20 years?
