Sahin wants to stay at Real: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7846905/Sahin-wants-Real-stay
i think he knew he was getting the sack and wanted to make a statement..what with Rafa being one of the so called 'ring leaders' in the factions that were created....doesnt seem like Rafa though.....ill be glad to see him get 100 caps.
"You'll never play for this team again, while I'm in charge! And if that doesn't teach you a lesson, then this will: I quit! Oh, wait..."
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...yak-heads-to-Reading-on-a-four-year-deal.html Pavel Pogrebnyak to Reading for 4 mill. i thought he looked handy last season...however i dont think he wouls be as prolific as we need.
Jordan and Bond have officially left, for those who haven't seen it on the THFC website, or on SSN. didn't think it was worth creating a new thread about, so as it's essentially 2 outward transfers, i've put it here. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/club-announcement-28062012.page?
We'd like to thank Kevin Bond for spending four years believing it wasn't worth practicing set pieces...
You can be certain that Levy won't be allowing Modric to go to Man U without adding to their humongous debt.
How can you turn this into a formation issue?? i can't think of anything more irrelevant. The next manager will not just junk the Europa League (anything that earns Levy money...the new manager will have been told!). 2 comps, 4 strikers, this is just a basic requirement for any football club. United had 5 last season, so I think you've misunderstood somewhere along the line.
We could always write off a chunk of the monies owed by cherry picking their key players. That's what we did the last time a club with no money signed players from us...
Forlan can leave Inter, apparently, so we've been linked with him again. We should sign him by the time he's about 60, at this rate.
Hmm. I disagree Smart.. If we play 4411 (or 4231 or some variation or whatever) then we'll have 1 main striker (like Ade this season) Then for the Europa League/Cups/loss of form etc we can have a backup (like Defoe). Then a final striker (injury cover, impact sub or cup player or whatever). Having 4 would just make one (or two) unhappy. I don't think you can use the comparison to Man Utd for two reasons. One, they're paid significantly more so presumably won't mind being on the bench. Two, they play 2 strikers most games (with Rooney counted as a striker) and so therefore will need more strikers?
i want us to really go for the Europa...despite what people say and think..it is recognised and it is appreciated...i honestly would be happy with 5th and the Europa cup.
Agreed - we need Ade back, cover for him, Defoe as an impact sub, VdV and cover for him and we are sorted, as we've got Kane and Coulibaly as back up.
i think we probably play all these talked about formations within one game..just depends on the scenario.
You can disagree all you like mate, no problem to me, perhaps you could explain why United, City, Chelsea, even Newcastle (who pay similar, have 3/4 on the bench who don't mind, and no Euro footy last year),....I got bored thinking of more who all run 5 forwards. All those teams play a variety of formations, your idea restricts us...ridiculous no? I'll let you 2 continue down the cul-de-sac Formation Drivel Close, see you on the way back!
So we know Bellamy, Giggs and Richards are the three over age players and that Beckham is out but has anybody actually reported who is in the squad? This media fawning over Beckham is slightly sickening.
