Ha! We'll see on Wednesday, August 14th, 2013. Will be booking my ticket later this week. I'm assuming you've forgotten the score the last time we played england, Boggers?

Beat you 1-0 at Wembley, 2nd leg of Euro 2000 playoff. Think it was your second last game at old Wembley. Lost the last one to Germany, if I recall correctly.

It's probably better that you keep imagining it.

Ach, wash your mouth out with soap, Elland! It's Glasgow you want to go to. Take it from a Glaswegian - anywhere is better than Embra.

(You may detect a slight rivalry between us fae Glasgow & them fae cravatte country)

Revie, son of Leeds and England manager Don Revie, revealed last week he is interested in heading a consortium to take over the Elland Road outfit. Duncan Revie He told the Mail on Sunday: "It is time to sit down with Ken Bates to push this thing further and see what he wants. I intend to ring him on Monday and arrange a meeting to find out what the story is." He added: "I know Ken and I quite like him. It's always best to deal with him face to face and be up front about it. "I've been staggered by the reaction of Leeds fans to my interest in taking the club back where we belong. I've always said they are the most passionate in the country and they've proved me right."

All good positive stuff Elland, but I like everyone else just want a deal done, Warnock to have the money, & all the usual suspects sign extensions. Get me all of that, & I'll be a happy bunny.

    Afternoon all <ok>

Hope you're all well - just a flying visit. Keeping everything crossed for a potential takeover.

Avoid Embra. Recommend you go to Glasgow.

Seriously, I don't know much about Edinburgh. Rose Street (parallel to Princess St) has loads of pubs in it & is popular for pub crawls. As Billy Connolly says "You find chalk writing on walls at various points along the road saying things like 'Holy Trinity RFC made it this far on 25/6/04' sort of thing. And there are generally impressive displays of 'pavement pizza' along the road too". The other area to go is the 'pubic triangle' as it used to be called - might still be! (in the Grassmarket below the castle, I think). There used to be 3 pubs here that did strippers/topless gogo dancers and the times were staggered, so that at the end of the show, everyone drank up & headed off to the next pub in the triangle. Not drank there since I came down here 22 years ago, so things may have changed ....

Ywbk - how long you been driving? Tell us more - what lane were you in, what speed were you going, where did the other car come from (joined carriageway or you were overtaking or undertaking or he was avoiding another car or just pulled out for little reason), what lane did he pull into, did he indicate, etc etc?

That information will give you an indication whether you have any chance of winning a case, but you should query any immediate decision if you were not at fault
