There should be so sentiment in professional sport with medals at stake so I am glad David Beckham has been left out of the 2012 GB Olympic football team. This is a competition and not a publicity stunt and I think Stuart Pearce has made the right decision for footballing reasons!

Ridiculous decision by Pearce. Bellendamy in and not Beckham? After all he did to help get the olympics? This is a contrived tournament so a contrived selection to pick Becks would have been fine. Also, he's still a better player than Bellend has ever been!!
