Dont make promises you cant keep RCDM but I know how you feel. Its almost to good to be true isnt it? Great link Bucks....Revie, son of Leeds and England manager Don Revie, revealed last week he is interested in heading a consortium to take over the Elland Road outfit. Duncan Revie He told the Mail on Sunday: "It is time to sit down with Ken Bates to push this thing further and see what he wants. I intend to ring him on Monday and arrange a meeting to find out what the story is." He added: "I know Ken and I quite like him. It's always best to deal with him face to face and be up front about it. "I've been staggered by the reaction of Leeds fans to my interest in taking the club back where we belong. I've always said they are the most passionate in the country and they've proved me right."
Fingers, arms, legs, toes crossed mate The Revie links an old one from a few years ago I think, but it still gives hope that he might be the one thats come back in....
Bucks the Metro article does not have a date, it reads like its old news from when Revie Jnr was trying to take us out of administration...
As ever, I'll believe it when its confirmed on LU Website. But things do genuinely seem to be moving in the right direction.
The Metro article's from a few years ago, but I have heard a few rumours it's Revie fronting UAE money.
I won't say that I'm not bothered how much money they have because obviously it would be nice if they are loaded. As long as they put more of the clubs money into the football team and we get rid of Bate's is the main thing.
Thats what I heard as well. Pure rumours of course, but after a quick google I found the metro story. Appreciate now it maybe old news but thats not to say Revie wasn't contacted by LUST when challenged to put there money where there mouth is! Also heard another rumour months ago about a Middle east consortium headed by David O'Leary! Dont usually like to get involved with the whispers but when the YEP ran the story about the middle east buyout it sounds like we are really starting to move in the right direction
Agreed, I know how easy it is to get excited but I doubt he is going... Oh how it would be nice to see a change at the top. I would say that although I dislike him, its fair to say Ken Bates did a good job of clearing the debts and getting rid of Krasner and co.. But he has done too much to lose my trust. Player sales, false promises, questionable ownership, the council showing the lies around Thorp Arch re-purchase.. to ever get me through the turnstiles again. The odd fact is I doubt things at Leeds are as bad as I think, plus once he has left I imagine things may turn out to be better than I imagine. However until a new owner is in place with all ties to Ken Bates clearly ended I will not go back. Nor am I trying to get too excited over these rumours as deep down I suspect Ken is behind it all.

To be fair a midfield of Han solo right wing, Luke Skywalker left wing, with a central pairing of Darth Vader and Chewbacca, would be much better, and replace Chewbacca with Jabba the hut in goal...........
