He didn't actually say anything though - did he? He alluded to a conversation and he wasn't happy ... Basically, he called Green a **** and he wanted him out! Why? If there are suspicions on Greens motives then come out and say what they are... Whose to say he even understood what was said! For a fans takeover, you would be better getting Donald Findlay in to speak with Green, investors and fans.
The main point of his speech was something Green said to him that he wouldn't divulge. I suppose that is more "truth" than your used to
I liked his aggressive approach. He stood on Green's doorstep (if it is his) and basicly called him out.
Fair enough ... Not the way, in my opinion, you deal with a businessman ... if anything, it probably put Greens backup.
well good for you - id like to think i would but im not so sure horses for courses i suppose - to me if you are being aggressive you are not thinking analytically. fine on the pitch but not off it and certainly not a quality i want of someone proposing to be a leader of a consortium
Nev man, you thought he told the truth - I can never believe this "to smoke them out" ****e about McKenna - there's no way they had a guy on board as some sort of situationist prank or extremely sophisticated subterfuge. He was talking out of his erchie but, like Ally and Jardine, he puffed his chest out and played to the crowd with yet more threatening bollocks. Obviously, it went down a storm. This, without doubt, has been my favourite bit of the whole episode.
He's as dodgy as Whyte ... I wouldn't trust him either. If only Watty's bid had got their finger out rather than waiting to the last minute!
I've said many times Lennon needs to cool it... However, it appears that Brown is the front man for this fans takeover, and in my opinion, he did himself or it no favours. He came across as an agggressive bam. Do you think any businessman involved was satisfied with the way he handled himslf last night?
no - and if you look at my posts trev you will see i thought lennon was out of order that day - incidentally so does he and made a statement and an apology to that effect he is the spokesperson trev - he is leading the bid - he may not be the brains behind (dear god i hope not) but he is the face you should bring a cool head to the table - not a rabble rouser and to be honest, the rangers support still seems pretty divided on his actions too so im not sure how this has helped the club other than raise the profile even higher fan ownership is a fine model to an extent - but wasnt it suggested already by various factions of the support and green himself??
