People are trying to get a reaction from him tonight and Chappers is coming back with some classics. :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

“@shanedoick: @Rchap04 have fun in the reserves next year”

Chappers reply - You sure you've spelt your last name right?? #surelyshouldbelosingtheO

“@Alex_Gardner2: @Rchap04 have fun in the premiership next season! Going to get battered every game"

Chappers reply - how did you get your teeth so yellow??

“@shanedoick: @Rchap04 you should be in League 1”

Chappers reply - you look like you should be on the register!!

He's great on Twitter. Same with De Ridder and Hooiveld. We need to keep these characters, even if it's just for morale.

What about Billy Sharp, a while back a West Ham fan asked him who he wanted to win the Play Off Final. Sharps reply: I don't care, cause we are Southampton we're Premier League. BRILLIANT!!

Players should be banned from Twitter. Its a complete waste of everyone's time and only ends up getting people into trouble.

It only gets people into trouble if they're the kind of people who deserve to get into trouble. Build a squad of sensible, intelligent professionals and you won't have to worry about how they spend their free time.

Can't agree with that I'm afraid, its only the minority of footballers who get into trouble. Its a great way for fans to interact with the players, it's puts football into a different perspective and helps you understand how they feel after certain things like matches and training. For me by being on twitter I feel more involved with Southampton than I have ever had before.

Sadly it's such a vocal minority that many get tarred with the same brush.

Haha some great comebacks from Chaplow there, but he will be watching most of the games from the bench if he is lucky enough.

Let's be fair, he probably won't be starting often. Love the guy but I didn't think he was good enough to start at the end of last season, so I don't in the Premier League.

So you think we'll have a lot of injuries in midfield then?

I think he'll still be a fairly big part of the team.

I don't see Chaplow starting many games, but he's always going to be useful due to his stamina and short bursts of pace.

I just don't get why people act so pathetically on twitter. It's not as if they would start going up to Chaplow in the street and start giving It the big one. I love twitter personally as it give you a real chance to see what all the players get up to, just a shame all that all this has to go on as well.
