Swarbs I agree we probably have enough mods. I nominated myself as I believe only Utd fans should be moderating here.
The fact that you just said there is no outright wumming proves that you need another mod. EDIT: My sig explains why Constrcrepe should not be a mod, not out of personal reference, but because I wrote that through a few weeks of observing. The Arsenal board wouldn't be too far away then.
So the UTD board is going to have 4 mods? Would you guys support me if I wanted to become Arsenal mod?
It wasn't a wum, clearly. I made a point, backed it up, and Nolhman's response was nothing to do with Hernandez. That sort of thing is the kind of stuff we need to stop if to progress. Nolhman's changed, if not for myself, I vote for Nolhman.
Why didn't you stop it then? You could just have not responded to his arguments. Sorry mate, only people who are eligble for nominations are eligible to vote
Wtf? Why is that? You do realise there's more than 5 people using this forum right? Surely everyone should be allowed to freely vote?
He didn't mean "only people who have been nominated are eligible to vote". He meant "only people who could be nominated (as in United fans)."
Did you not use the old 606? He did the "turn over a new leaf" thing on there but it was a piss-take.
I vote Berbnanidez. Nohlman becomes a mod and it will be the end of not606 so I may as well leave. I don't care that some people think the sun shines out of this arse or that he has changed, he is a ****ing prick.
Of those three I'd vote for me . I wouldn' say no to being mod but be warned, I'd rule with an Iron fist... Err finger. I think the most important things for a mod is to be active in discussions and not wumming and knowing the balance between acceptable posts and those that don't do any good. Having a laugh and banter is one thing but someone who sets out to wum shouldn't be a moderator. The mods should be the guys who set the example, from my experince on this site, limited to the United boards pretty much exclusively, Swarbs is a good example of how a moderator should be, he's active but doesn't wum (at least not on this board) and doesn't post too little or too much. He gets involved in discussions but not for the sake of simply upping his post count. That's the kind of member you want to be a mod, someone who sets the example for the regular members. I'm probably not really regular enough to know the members nominated well enough but of the three I feel that I'd be happiest with The Guy moderating. But I'm probably not regular enough to know them as well as some of you guys do.
@ Swarbs Do you really need another Mod? Can't say that it really affects me what happens on the Utd board, but allowing Hizmo (aka LuisNani) mod status would be like opening a big old can of worms. Plus I think Mick and Syd are well aware of what he is like and won't entertain it.
