rom @PLTransferLink EPL Transfer Link twitter Asamoah Gyan is set to join Al-Ain on a 5-year-deal earning up to £140,000-a-week and the fee is believed to be around £15m. And... Sunderland want Manchester City to drop their asking price for Adam Johnson. Martin O’Neill is determined to lure the England international back to his hometown, and is prepared to pay big for his signature this summer. However, he is reluctant to go as high as the £15million price tag which Roberto Mancini is reportedly demanding for the former Middlesbrough winger. O’Neill is now keen to enter negotiations with the Premier League champions, and hopes to eventually land Johnson, 24, for closer to £9million.
15m is a fantastic deal for the club! 15m for Johnson well 2bh I think the lad is worth it when you look at Downing and Henderson cost 20m. Johnson is a top, top player
Does that 15mil inc the 6 mil loan fee or on top of? Good deal imo if its on top of. Johnson smaller transfer fee, decent wages with bloody good bonuses would do for me.
Nial & Short are nor stupid they are business men looking for a good deal. who have loaned out gyan because hes a greedy b!!!! and would not stay with the club who gave him a chance. They would want more than they paid for the player back. If the sell on fee was less there would have been no way gyan would have been loaned out. lets trust ellis, milliband and the board to do the best for the club .
Gyan saw the money and said he had to do the best for his family. who woud not change jobs if someone offered you 4x your present salary.
Well it could be that hes wasnt getting food we all know why bruce ate all the pies feel sorry for hull lads
Don't agree Newton. It's a short career and what's he going to be telling his kids about leaving Europe for wherever Al Ain is? He was getting plenty off us and would have got plenty if he'd moved, but stayed with a European club.
Sadly if gyan says he wants to leave that club the season after next then someone will come in from Europe and he'll be sitting pretty on his £££
Ghanaian Azonto Rapper Boxing Star - Undisclosed fee Wolves player - undisclosed fee! Dogs dick - disclosed fee if terms can be agreed! Did anyone mention £0.0032M Divvunt mention the CONGO!!!
This would be brilliant money for us. We would get a good size profit which MON can use for new players (hoping for Johnson). I am looking forward to this pre-season & season.
Ghana captain John Mensah is begging Ghanaians on behalf of his colleague Asamoah Gyan for the unfortunate incident that occurred last Monday in the Eastern Region. A persistent innuendo by Frank Giage, a carpenter, infuriated the Al Ain Forward, who descended on him, giving him dirty slaps. The incident occurred when Gyan, in the company of some Black Stars players and celebrities, made a stopover at Linda Dor Restaurant, near Kibi in the Eastern Region. The carpenter followed Gyan in his comfy Escalade cream 4X4 casting insinuations and referring to him as “over the bar’. The player and those who were with him cautioned the victim to stop following Gyan but he persisted, compelling Gyan to alight and give him a dirty slap. Many condemned Gyan for his action considering the fact that he is a star and recently crowned peace ambassador. Consequently, John Mensah pleaded on ‘Baby Jet’s behalf for the unfortunate incident saying, “I was not around when the incident occurred, but I must say I am sorry for the incident. "The victim should have also considered that errors are part of the game – and the fact that the incident is past and gone and should not be revisited. In as much as we need the fans because they play very important role in our careers, they should be tolerant and be patient with us,” Mensah said on Happy FM. The victim did not sound remorseful for his action and even promised that he will repeat it whenever he comes across the player. The Stars and their celebrities’ counterparts travelled in a convoy last Saturday to Kumasi for the 6th Stars Soccer Fiesta Reloaded. The unfortunate incident happened on their return to the capital city on Monday evening.
