Ash, keep calm mate and don't delete anything hastily. Arguing is part and parcel of forums just let them get on with it. Once you cross the line with censorship all is lost and you set precedences. So far I think you've done a top job as a mod just keep doing what you've been doing already and don't change things.
Not sure how you would know that Knackered jack, i thought you put Dragonphiljack,Superswan and Norway jack on your ignore list?? Being on the outside looking in at the childs play,i dont really see why you go after the above contributors so avidly, is there a past History that us newer posters are missing? Considering you have made great strides in taking it upon yourself to "ignore" these people why do you still choose to stir the Hornets nest? I find it all very strange and quite off putting, i enjoy Norway-jacks posts immensly and i dont really see why you have such issues with him and indeed many others for that matter, forgive me for speaking candidly Knackered jack but from what ive read recently it seems you enjoy the Battle more than the debate. I apologise if you think im speaking out of turn here but i feel a fresh perspective can sometimes help the situation, the Moderators seem to be very unhappy with todays goings on. Posters such as yourself have a great insight and opinion on footballing matters, this is what you, Dragon,Norway and many others on here are good at,it sets this forum apart from others. This what i prefer to read about on not606, its why after reading the forum for so long I decided to join up. Keep up the good stuff fellas !!
Dill, while I agree it's part of a forum, the disagreeing, the bickering etc, it's getting tedious having most of the threads derailed. People are getting unhappy, especially when you have to trawl through pages of **** to get to the decent stuff. I shall not be removing anything hastily, but will remove any snide remarks/insults between the three, as I did with Phil's post earlier. With regards to whose fault it is, the blame can not be put on one poster. KJ, Norway and Phil post up constructive posts/threads regularly, sadly, when one of the other disagree's, often a snide remark follows, which is then closely followed by a response. While I accept I'm a moderator, please remember how difficult it is to take action and take sides. I cannot, and will not take sides.
ClassyJack: "Not sure how you would know that Knackered jack, i thought you put Dragonphiljack,Superswan and Norway jack on your ignore list??" Dai isn't on my list. The comedy value is too high. But check out JA's replies. It's pretty obvious he's getting stick. If I'm wrong I apologise unreservedly to NJ. Last time I looked I am the one that's put these two jokers on 'Ignore" but they have repeatedly refused to reciprocate. I'm still entitled to comment on a thread though. You OK with that? As for "stirring" anything, well I give JA more credit than that. I am simply making the (valid) point that NJ is proving me right. I'm entitled to do that aren't I? I find it incredibly curious that you have seen fit to praise NJ and Dragon yet have a go at me when it's Dragon that has used the words "prick" and "scumbag" to refer to me on more than one occasion. Where's your criticism of him for that? I have never referred to anyone on here using that language and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Look, guys. I'm completely happy to ignore these to prima donnas for the sake of the forum. The fact that they won't do the same speaks volumes to my mind but at least things should now quieten down. I'm sure you could all do without it.
but have they, only the spurs board they seem to think so, its his agent making all the deals apparently
Well I've thought it strange that he hadn't bitten Liverpool's hand off but foolishly thought that because of that he'd come to us. The Spurs thing could be paper talk. They are mangerless and there's no guarantee he won't spend the season on the bench there either. Who knows? Still hope he comes to us but as I've said before it's up to him and he doesn't really owe us anything. I know others disagree.
According to Guardian its been agreed with Spurs http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jun/26/tottenham-gylfi-sigurdsson-swansea
As much as I have appreciated the work Rodgers did, I found it rather distateful that he thought he could "subtly" tap up Sigs - thinking he could keep face and snatch away a player that had agreed fee and salary. He's very image conscious, but he can't keep up this idea of being the Swansea messiah whilst at the same time sneaking around after a player that we had all but signed. I'm glad Sigs is showing him what being on the receiving end of that sort of behaviour feels like.
He commanded double the £30,000 weekly wage it is thought Swansea were prepared to pay. Thats why he is going to spurs! Read More http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...ylfi-sigurdsson-91466-31276659/#ixzz1z4rRMR6W
Money talks ,he's just another greedy bastard ,why as supporters do we continue to think players give a f**k about who they play for ,I'm glad that Huw & co are not prepared to bow to pressure (from where ever it comes from) to wipe out ten years of hard work by caving in to the demands of players/agents.
jinks is right not to even consider joining liverpool and spurs in the bidding war. Money does talk but siggs came across as a player that would love to come back as a perminant player with us and he even accepted the terms. What has let him down as a person now is he hesitated to put pen to paper because of the brendan saga and he led us all to believe that he wanted to follow brendan because that was a major reason why he agreed terms to sign....what a liar and a hypocrite he is because i actually bought his reason hook line and sinker that he wanted to stay with brendan and thats why everything was put on hold with him actually signing but he showed his true colours when spurs offered him more money to join them and put yet again another signing on hold at liverpool. ...so the reason he gave us about wanting to follow brendan was lies, fair play to jinks saying we wont enter into the bidding war as siggs has said that if we double his £30,000/week wages what he was happy to take at the beginning that he would come to us....who does he think he is to expect our club to pay one player £60,000/week. ...Even if we could afford it he is not worth that amount and jinks is right to opt out of the bidding war and let liverpool and spurs fight over him...he is not worth anywhere near what he is asking and one of them will find out next season.....so jinks deserves praise on this decision.....
No one is asking you to take sides, just nip it in the bud, not rocket science! It's amazing how lenient you are with the idiot! As Classy Jack has stated: obviously other posters are getting the picture, but clearly our Mods are not, or are otherwise impotent!..........
Well I think footballers are only human. Who wouldn't go somewhere for double the salary? I would. I'm actually disappointed we offered to pay him that much. Hope our wage structure is not getting out of control.
