    Warren Joyce speaks!

I would definitely like to see Josh King back at the KC, indeed I really, really hope somebody persuades Brucie to pencil him in.

Joyce states he wasn't fit whilst with us last season and I fully agree with that alothough I think towards the end we were starting to see what a quality player he can be. We really need to get him back here after a proper pre-season (whether that is with us or Utd) as he will be special next year.

There may even be a call for Robbie Brady as well, who knows he might have matured over the Summer whilst associating with Aaron McLean (ARF!!). I think that all depends on Cameron Stewart's well-being (be that psychological or physical). If he performs like we know he can, Brady might not be needed. However, if so it will leave us with just two wingers and no cover.

If they all come that would be:

Chester, Dudgeon, Stewart, Evans, King, Brady, Keane and Tunnicliffe..................we should have Red, Black and White as our second strip! (Cue abuse about being a closet United fan! ) :emoticon-0136-giggl

I'd take both. Although it depends which wingers we're also looking at.

Yes it is and also old news. SAF will use most of his kids on the Utd pre-season tour and then cut the ones who wont make his squad. I think that Brady will be much better this season and was not as bad as many make out either. ;)

I would take Both. Its a long season and we need options especially for the last 2 months of the season. SB needs to keep the squad fresh for the slog ahead. Options at all times. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Oh dear. Life is so hard. :cheesy:

We only have Stewart for now. But If Anderson, King and Brady come then thats only 4. (2 for each flank.)
SB and the club know what they are getting i would suggest.

I don't want Brady back, he had plenty of opportunities to show what he could do last season and he did little of any note, time to offer someone else the chance.

Also, if we're in for Coutts, then he can play wide too(as might Koren if we're going to play 4-4-2).

Playing Coutts as a wide man is as useful as playing Koren out wide.

Brady is a quality act. This is his make or break season imo and i see no reason not to have him back. Ive also no doubts that Joyce and SAF will have words with Brady as to his drop in form last season. ;)

Imo, having both Brady and King for a whole season could be the answer. Brady on the left and King on the right.

You're an expert of Coutts too? Impressive.

For the record, if you gave me the choice of Koren or Brady on the wing, I'd pick Koren(so I'd probably pick Coutts too).

Would love to see King given a full season with us to show what he can do but I think Brady's ship has sailed and he would be a waste of a loan space, particularly if Stewart stays.

Hope Koren plays through the middle

It's not quite as simple as that though, is it? To play Koren on the wing (where he hates playing) you would have to take him away from his best position which is in the hole behind the main striker. So it's not so much that you CAN play Koren out wide, more a question of what you lose if you do that.

Koren is our best attacking player. However, ever since he arrived it has been a problem knowing how to use him to best effect. Both NP and NB eventually came to the opinion (in fact NB immediately had that opinion!) that the best way was to play 4-2-3-1.

As has always been the case Koren is a problem that needs careful thought. I would suggest we should either build the side round him or let him go.

Each to there own. ;) But i like square pegs in square holes. Wingers on the wing and midfielders in midfield. Koren was far more productive when not out wide last season. ;)

As for Paul Coutts, we can continue this debate when he signs. <ok>

Only one option, build the team around him and don't play him on the wing. Good players dont need a position as the likes of Koren can have a free role whilst being the playmaker. If Bruce is going to do this then obviously he needs to make sure the team is still balanced and unfortunately i don't have the answer to that one.

Agreed. Koren should be given a free fole to go where he wants to go. Thats the best way to get the best out of Koren. imo

Definitely is but its how you form the team around him that would be a potential issue

We had exactly the same problem with Geo, do you build a team around him or play him out of position. I think Bruce will go for the latter, I think he'll go for a 4-4-2.
