Partridge has got to be one of those Marmite things. I know a lot of people that rave about it but Ihave never found it that funny.
I'm excited to see this program now, a lot of good reviews on here. To my tastes, I think there's only the works of Chris Morris that I find funnier than Alan. Think I mentioned it on here a bit ago, read the Partridge book recently. It is fantastic, every page is hilarious. I recommend highly.
Agreed I finished reading it on a plane last week and I was laughing like an idiot. People were looking at me like I was a psychopath. I'm gonna download the audiobook because apparently its brilliant.
On a side note, as it is still comedy, I went to see Stewart Lee last night at City Hall. It was stupendously funny, as he always is.
