There's certainly grounds for it - no audited accounts etc. A few weeks ago, most Rangers fans said they wanted to start again in Div 3 but said that "money talks" and the SPL chairmen would vote them in for fiscal reasons. Totally underestimating fan power The lower leagues have less influential fan bases so I think that Rangers will either go into Div 3 or a gerrymandered "SPL2" but it's not out of the realms of possibility that the SFL clubs will vote against a Newco in their leagues. Indeed, SFL clubs and their fanbases have started speaking out against it already. It's not a done deal.
