I know this is a leeds forum but I am also a league fan and have supported Northern/Bulls all my life.

It really pi$$es me off how some of these clubs are being raped by the 'money men' in charge.

It's really not a sport anymore, is it? A lot of them are just vehicles for the poor punter to be fleeced left, right and centre.

Take Leeds, we should more or less have the best squad in this division year in, year out regardless.

More fans need to vote with their feet against these cowboys. It really is a disgrace.

    Rant over. <steam>

Can't believe that a club with such history like Bradford Bulls can go bust for only £1.8 million!

    Massive contrast to football!!!

Sad for the club & its fans, but it could have been worse. It could have been the Blue Bulls in real rugby!!!

At least they don't HAVE to give the ball back every 6 tackles 'coz some girlie league forwards have run out of puff. Heyho, one day we'll finally get to meeet for a pint & have an informed debate on the merits or otherwise of each code.

When people tell me Leeds isn't a sporting city, I just cast my mind to our westerly neighbours and feel a lot happier.

No boggers you give it back before any tackles by just booting it to the other end of the field, If I wanted to watch that id go to wimbeldon :)

Its position on the field. You rarely see tries starting from your own 22 in Union. A well placed kick that goes for a line out gives a side who were defending the opportunity to compete for the ball at a line out nearer to their opponents' try line than was otherwise the case. Alternative scenario is the now defending team commit an error & there is a scrum, where again unlike league sides compete. Attacks can go on for ages. Not for them the indigation of having to give the ball up every 6 tackles.
