Agree on defenders. But keepers take more set pieces than anyone, and are more mentally prepared than anyone for dealing with the pressure of one do-or-die moment. If it's true that Joe Hart wanted to take one, he should have been allowed to do so. Particularly once we went one up.

    Morning all

Pleasant sunny day today so off or a walk later. Not too broken-hearted about England's defeat...it makes the rest of tournament a bit more relaxing.

At least we know that the women stand a good chance of winning their Euros next year - the biggest dangers could be Holland, Germany, Norway and as they are hosts, Sweden.

Not sure if this is the actual thing or a mock-up.

    Still can't believe it. :(

Maybe the new owners can insist on having the logo in Italian - L'Uovo Felice has a better ring to it.

Morning all. Its a hot but overcast day here and i am going to be in uni again getting feedback and help with my assignments. I feel naff too, i have a sore throat, am sneezing all the time and have a throbbing head. Add to that, the fact i could not sleep last night with the heat so am shattered too. Not great.

    Oh well, onwards and upwards.

Morning all, a little late I know but overslept and had to make a dash for the French class. <yikes> At least that is over for the summer, we don't return until the middle of September. ;)

No time yet to check out the news, if there is any. I am just wondering what state of mind Baz could be in? Will he be hoping to salvage something out of the events going on behind closed doors?
