Good grief, what did he do to put Wenger off? The fact that we bought RVP and Anelka, who were @rses back in the days, it makes you wonder how bad M'Villa really is. That's if the rumours are correct....
I hope so. But Wenger would never say anything negative about a player, so these rumours seem off. Probably done by M'Villa's agent to drum up more interest, thus increasing his value. But the fact that France had an average tournament and M'Villa not having much of a showing, has driven his value down, thankfully!
He's been a bit of a d*ck recently with his fighting he did and, like Carragher (I'm not proud to admit that), I was unimpressed by his attitude at the end of the quarter final match when he ran eagerly on the pitch to swap shirts. No sign of dissapointment/frustration/shame at his country and teams poor showing. Small things maybe but they stick. As someone said though Wenger has shown a knack for taking troubled players and getting the best out of them, maybe it can be the same here. Could also be tactics as zaGooner said. Still think he could be a cracking player.
The problem with France is, he's not the only dick in the squad. What about the lesbian's rant over the journalist, or that other twat Evra, causing problems in their last World cup? Thierry Henry wasn't exempt from such things either, sadly... apart from the handball incident I can't remember him being that much of a problem though in the French team.
