Got a bit confused by that one LLF, not that it takes much. I read it as handed his notice in rather than signed again. you are right though. Set expectations low and they can only be exceeded.
They said it wouldn't happen the last time (especially the Jax) and it did. I for one would be happy to see him back, his experience, work ethic and speed would be a big bonus for the club. And he is used to playing in red now!
£2M seems a reasonable fee if we can get him on reasonable wages. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...bellamy-for-cut-price-2m-deal-91466-31259183/
Not for £2m plus high wages. He's 32. He's injury prone. Granted he is quality but how much would be left of the transfer kitty to get the 2 strikers urgently required to replace Earnshaw and consign Miller to the bench? As for Earnshaw, I am staggered he is still here earning high wages when he is so past it. I want to read of a Granmt Holt/Ricky Lambert type and a decent fox in the box coming. Last season we needed on average just 1 more goal in most games to have earned 20+ more points. Scoring goals is a priority and Gestade, Miller & Earnshaw just do not cut it at ths level.
