    Good Morning Everyone,

Half a dozen semi high profile clubs, with the likes of Reading are interested in the services of Adam Clayton and Ross McCormack. Given the choice would we rather keep Ross and Clayts, or would we do equally as well with Luke Varney and David Norris???

Now that England are out of the Euro's. Who do we want to win?

As reported yesterday Kewell has moved back to the UK. The way he treated us was appalling but is he the biggest Judas to have represented us?

I know its early yet, but which three teams do we think will get relegated from the Championship this coming season?

    Morning all

We need to get this buy-out garbage sorted as we're all hanging in limbo still, and so are Snodds, White and Ross. As for Clayton, I think he's a great prospect and given some better players around him would do even better than last season. He played well when he had jonny with him earlier in the season, so I'm hoping he stays and see him as being better that Varney/Norris, hence so many clubs chasing him.

Relegation this season will be a close call, but I expect us to down there if we don't start bringing some players in soon.

Anyone heard any reports about Somma yet, because he could be a good wild card to have in the mix, if he comes back and carries on developing

Anyone heard if Billy and the rest of the dross have been offered deals elsewhere to get them off our books?

Morning Elland. I think we're better off keeping Clayts & Ross personally. Ross will give us 20 goals & Clayts may learn under Warnock how to boss games more often than was the case last season.

On the Euros, I'd quite like Portugal to upset the apple cart & win.

On Kewell, I was away abroad when he left, so missed the fun & games of his departure. Not sure I understand the animosity we have towards him. That said, he is definitely yesterday's man. No need to bring him back.

Forest, Posh, & Burnley to go down for me I think. But ask me again after 10 games.

Morning Doc, I too am a big fan of Clayts, wonder what his wage demands were??? He has made it clear that he did not want to leave. I cannot see us being anywhere apart from the top 6, maybe my head is in the clouds. News on Somma has been very quiet. We need him to be firing em in next season. Paynter should be going to Brentford

Morning Boggers, Kewell and his agent screwed Leeds when he left for Liverpool. Not sure on the ins and outs, but Leeds only recieved about 1m from the transfer fee, then a few years later, just to rub our noses in it, he fcuked off to galatasaray

    Morning Elland <cheers>

3 teams to struggle this season,,
    Barnsley.
    Peterborough,
    Bristol City.

But when you look at the teams in it this season i think its going to be the toughest championship for many years,
All the relegated prem teams will be strong as will all the promoted teams. <yikes>

Its going to be a real rollercoaster this one...<ok>

Massive difference between Smith and kewill and Leeds fans should remember that. They both came through the academy system and both were brilliant for us. When Ridsdale killed the club and we were on the brink, Smith went over the pennines because they were the only club offering the correct money and would pay it all up front, plus Smith didn't take his cut of the fee which was £1m, he let the club have it. Smith has taken flak from some Leeds fans because of where he went, he didn't deserve that

Kewill shafted the club to make sure he and his agent walked away with £3m leaving the club with peanuts. Even big ears Lineker kicked off about it and was sued by kewill and his agent, but Lineker wouldn't back down and said that kewill and his agent should hang their heads in shame.

Cheers guys. Now I remember on Kewell. Potential for Somma to be a real wildcard IF he returns fully fit. A cruciate injury isn't much fun. So let's hope he returns fully fit & firing.

Agree that this league looks very strong this year. We were good away from home last year, but we will certainly need to turn ER back into a fortress again.

Ouch Cosmic. Does seem that too many footballers have more money than sense & that whatever brain cell they may have gets left behind when the game is over.

Think it'll be Millwall, Peterborough and Barnsley for relegation (sorry TC and Mighty). I can see us being around the top 6 if we carry on with a few more signings of the same quality but who knows if we bring in some awesome signings

I want anyone other than Portugal to win the Euros. I sit next to a Portuguese guy at work and I don't think I'd ever hear the end of it if they win. He already loves the smell of Ronaldo's **** so can't be bothered with the extra annoyance if they won

    Morning.

With our history of re-investment in the playing squad we are best suited by keeping Snodgrass, McCormack & Clayton, however I expect two to go before September and the other one to leave in January.

I would expect loan signings for replacements, we could possibly see young Delph back for the the second half of the season in a loan deal with Snodgrass going the other way & signing up with Paul Lambert and Villa (Not saying I like it but I can see it happening).

As for the drop I expect it to be 3 from the following, but only time will tell.

    Millwall
    Birmingham (-10 pts for administration)
    Charlton
    Barnsley
    Peterborough

Forgot about Palarse <doh> The way they imploded after Christams (they did a Leeds) they must be one of the favourites for the drop - how will Wednesday and Huddersfield cope with being Yorkshires Championship top boys?

Just on a completely different side note (as the footy news is quiet),

Does anyone else think that the London Olympic Stadium should be used for a Test Cricket venue in years to come, its clearly big enough and the curved sides would make it a decent second London test instead of the Oval...

With the running track and curved sides I can not see 60,000 West Ham fan's turning up every week to watch Football unless the team is challenging for the top 4.

Peacock, the current playing serface isn't big enough. Its too narrow, & I don't think there are any plans to make it wider by cutting into the athletics track.

Kewell shafted the club then went on to play for the Turkish scum. Easily the biggest Judas we've ever had IMO.

Clayton > Norris & McCormack > Varney. I have a funny feeling Clayton will stay but we seem resigned to losing McCormack, I hope Varney isn't the replacement. I'd take Norris aswell as keeping Clayton though. With Snoddy I think it all depends on the possible takeover and whether we show enough ambition, which you'd hope we would.
