I dont think senna justified a 4 either. he was unlucky to get smashed into and then penalised for it but he still recovered a point that his idiot team mate didnt. He did look like he was going to beat MS before the collision and look where he finished
The incident with Kamui was a RI in my opinion, but if apportioning blame you have to blame the person who moved across which was Senna. As to MS, he was looking good for about 14th until the SC, retirements and poor tyre startegies, so how he gets a 7 is beyond me, i guess 6 of those points are for pure luck.
ooh I don't remember seeing a zero before. I can agree with Vettel 10/10 He was absolutely brilliant. His qually lap was fantastic and he left everyone for dead in the race. He would have been miles away by the finish. Alonso and Grosjean probably deserved a 10 as well. Hamilton was also brilliant up until the end. Even though it was 100% Maldonados fault it was extremely unwise to try and keep him behind. I'd agree with 8. Button 6th and Kimi 5th?!?!? Button should be lower and Raikko higher.
I dont see why Vettel deserved a 10. He had by far the best car and no pressure on him, anyone could have done what he did. What more could Alonso do to get a 10? Maybe a bit biased but that was probably the drive of recent history, maybe Kimi in Suzuka 05 comes close to it.
calm down, it was good but it wasn't that spectacular. and I agree it was a 10. But not the best drive since 2005.
A 27 second gap reduced by a safety car and 2 retirements to benefit Alonso and he deserves a 10? No chance! 9/10 considering where he qualified and the luck he was given, yet I have no problem with him being at the front of that luck he had a great race, but not a 10 since he didn't get into Q3. This is about form, not excitement since Seb was ****ting on everybody until that safety car came out, he deserved the 10 since he did eveything perfect that weekend, qualifying, start, pulling away, looking after tyres, he was doing it all perfectly until yet again Renault ****ed up and ruined his chance of an easy win. He was also going half a second a lap faster than Webber, what more do you want?
100%? no only 99.99999%, there was still that hope left lol. He did alright the old man, did the F1 world proud, age is a number..
and what with the tyres, good Mercedes grunt, the disharmony (i speculate) within some teams - your mate might well repeat the podium. Why not?
He got 7/10 becuase he qaulified averagely and raced okay, but lucked his way to 3rd thanks to retirements ahead, otherwise he would have been 7th at best. 7/10 seems fair to me.
This will sum up why he deserved it.
What rubbish. Noone did anything to seb s car. It had reliability issues. What FIA and alonso has to do with it.
That isn't what he said. He's implying Seb believed there was a needless SC to bunch the field to make it more of an entertaining spectacle for TV viewers and the crowd rather than have a repeat of 2011's races for 2nd. I don;t knwo if it was or wasn't, I didn't see anyone clearing the track of the debris Vergne decided to litter the track with, but I wasn't surprised the SC came out, dunno what Vergne thought he was doing.
It's almost as bad as the safety car in Silverstone 2010. Conveniently straight affter Alonso got a penalty. And for what? A tiny bit of wing on a straight.
