Two men are in a desert. They both have packs on. One of the guys is dead. The guy who is alive has his pack open, the guy who is dead has his pack closed. What is in the pack?

Outside a room there are three light switches. One of switch is connected to a light bulb inside the room.
Each of the three switches can be either 'ON' or 'OFF'.

You are allowed to set each switch the way you want it and then enter the room(note: you can enter the room only once)

Your task is to then determine which switch controls the bulb ??

    Sad ****ers..

Four people have been arrested after disorder broke out in Bedford following England's defeat to Italy in Euro 2012.

About 150 England fans headed to The Embankment after the game and targeted Italian fans, who had formed a cavalcade of vehicles to celebrate.

Some of the vehicles were damaged and one person was attacked, although not seriously, police said.

Officers were forced to close the High Street and The Embankment and are reviewing CCTV.

About 1,200 England fans had watched the Kiev game at bars on the High Street, with the vast majority heading home after the game, police added.

    'Stuck in cars'
A loose cordon was put in place as the streets filled after the match, but about 150 people broke away.

Police said they prevented the group from confronting a larger group of Italian fans who had gathered in Russell Park.

Supt Mark Turner said: "Sadly a well behaved build-up to the game was marred by approximately 15 minutes of sporadic disorder in Bedford High Street and The Embankment after the penalty shoot-out.

"A group of approximately 150 people broke away and ran towards the Embankment straight into grid-locked traffic as many Italian fans had formed a cavalcade of vehicles to celebrate and it was at this point some vehicles were attacked by the crowd.

"While order was quickly restored, this was undoubtedly an extremely unpleasant situation for people trying to leave the area sensibly and particularly for those stuck in their cars."

Three people were arrested for criminal damage, and one for assault.

Bedford has had a comparatively large Italian population since the 1950s, when workers from Italy helped rebuild the town after the war.

Nasty bastards, who ever done it.

A FAMILY of six had a lucky escape after their home was set on fire in an arson attack.

A mum, dad and their four children were forced to flee as the blaze spread through the semi detached house.

Today, neighbours spoke of their shock at the incident.

Police and firefighters were called to Stockley Road, Barmston, in Washington, at 1.30am on Saturday following reports of the blaze.

Officers immediately sealed off the area around the semi-detached house so that forensic investigations could be carried out to determine what happened.

Officers said that those living in the property were left unharmed despite the terrifying ordeal.

Smoke damage could today be seen to the front windows of the property.

A mum who lives across from the fire-hit home, but didn’t want to be named, said: “It’s sick that this could happen when there are four kids that live there.

“The bairn woke me up last night when she saw the lights from the fire brigade.”

The woman added: “They are so lucky. It just makes you sick to think what could have happened there.”

Another woman who lives just doors away, said: “It’s horrible to think that’s happened near me.”

Yesterday, Northumbria Police said officers had arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of arson and was in custody helping investigators with their inquiries. He has since been released on bail.

Jennifer Martin, 29, who lives nearby, said: “It’s frightening to think what could have happened. You automatically think about those six children who died in that house fire the other week.”

Detective Inspector Lisa Theaker said: “We’re carrying out initial enquiries to establish what has happened and the investigation is still in the early stages.

“I’d urge any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”

Witnesses are now being asked to contact officers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
