I'm sorry, but I've had it with the crap that Swords spews out of his dis-functional mind. Is one of the rules on this site no deliberate wumming? He decides which view to take by the toss of a coin, one day supportive of the club and all it does, the next slagging every decision just to cause controversy. If you disagree with him he basically takes over the thread abusing your view. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick of it and is the main reason I hardly contribute to the board these days. I doubt I'll be back on here for quiet a while while he's around because I can't be bothered going through page after page of his rubbish on each and every thread.

I don't agree with you at all on this. Swords makes this Forum much more enjoyable than it otherwise would be for me. If we all more or less agree all the time it would be rather boring. Off-line views and wind ups from Swords, and Others, add the bubbles to what otherwise can be flat wine - especially now off season.
He can push it a bit far but he is definitely passionate about the Hoops and does evoke some fine arguements from people who can't just rest on their laurels (instead the one view, I agree scenario) and need to have a firm belief in their stance. Flyer has him on ignore (although I'm not sure how it works in terms of what you see) but he does add a lot of life and vibrancy to this site (and a fair amount of rubbish to be equally honest). If he wasn't an R then he'd probably be too much but as it is, he is more like our collective, not-606/QPR fan love child (is there a vomit emoticon?). I wouldn't like to see you disappear mate and hope you can stay and feel free to express yourself openly because I'm sure I'm not the only one here that respects and appreciates your posts (I'd guess Swords would probably admit the same too).
Absolutely. He is also 100% consistent ( his views on Anton, though I totally disagree with them, have been the same since Terrygate), reads and responds to what others write, and is prepared to back down, (and sometimes apologise) if persuasive counter arguments are put, or he feels that he has gone over the top. All power to him, long may he continue. Mind you he's about as popular as a death at a birthday party today.
You dont see any of his posts, only if people quote him and if theyve replied to him, it means theyve already made him look a fool. It also has the added bonus of making him mad because he cant wind you up.
As I said somewhere else, I used to enjoy reading it and find it entertaining, I'm now thoroughly bored of his predictable rants. Bit like when you get a new girlfriend I suppose. Honeymoon period and all that. (cue a Swords time of the month joke, so droll). Takes over and spams too many threads with absolute garbage imo. Find myself sifting through what he writes to get to the good stuff.
Flyer is a funny one. I seem to make him flaming mad and he responds by putting me on "Ignore". But as this thread and many recent ones show, he just can't ignore me! He finds it impossible! So much so that he wants me banned! If he was really ignoring me, how could I bother him? Lone, there was a thread done on me last week. Surely it wasn't necessary to bore people with another one?
There are a few over zealous people on this board who tend to deliberately provoke an argument. When you know who these people are, you have three simple choices; Just ignore their posts Respond to their posts Simply place the person on your "ignore list" I know certain people do tend to hijack certain threads with occasional verbal diarrhea, but generally you can see the thread deteriorating and for me, I simply ignore it mate. By the way, it's more than SWORDS who tends to argue a point to death. There are a few others. I suggest you take the third option as suggested above and simply place anyone that annoys you on your ignore list and that should go a long way to resolving your obvious strong feelings on this matter. It would be a terrible shame to lose you Ranger as you are a good contributor to this forum. At least give the suggestion a try before you take any drastic action.
Its funny that there is always a poster that people either love or hate and gains somewhat of a status through it......back on BBC 606 is was Aboyinthebush, then its was Cerny Berny and now Swords is taking the reins. Maybe they are all the same person....in some twisted, schizophrenic personality that requires utmost organisation to pull off.....but then what would I know.
I thought you might have had him blocked or something and my post was 1st! Usually you are replying to someone when you quote them. Its the best thing to do or every thread turns into a pissing match.
