Do you know how soon the result will be known? I note you've just signed a new player and are in for another so if it's to be a NewCo-free SPL it's not stopping clubs like Killie from signing new players.
From what I've read Motherwell, St Mirren and Kilmarnock are putting the vote to supporters but Kilmarnock's chairman, Michael Johnson, is bleating to them that their club could be in financial trouble without the Newco in the SPL, so it looks like he's trying to pressurize fans into voting 'yes'.
hes said that if we lost out on two home games v Sevco 5088 (bearing in mind we were in bottom six last season and only had one) and reduced TV monies we would need an extra 1000 season tickets, and given some of the teams performances last season season ticket sales are already up. But how he is estimating the tv reduction I dont know.
They are only issuing the papers early this week (not sure what they need to explain exactly) so purely dependant on turnaround times. I would expect by the Monday of the week of the vote, dont think he would want to issue it any earlier than he has to! There has already been a vote taken by Killiefc.com and over 90% said No to give you a rough guide.
Im currently not a season ticket holder (work in Edinburgh) but if they had the balls to say No and stand up for what is right then I would anticipate getting one to effectively help ensure the team that I support survive.
Football people ie fans not Directors can usually be relied on to do the right thing. Many Directors of Football clubs are more interested in their own image than progress of the club.
If that's that then surely its in rangers new co's interest to withdraw the application and start for div 3? Time is tight to be ready if they wait? If they wait seems to me even more likely a deal had been done for division 1
