usually we have a reason to complain about how unlucky england were but tonight justice was done we were no where near good enough and italy dominated mostly from start to finish and deserved to go through.gutted we lost but the best team won by a mile.

Almost inevitable Rocky, England were awful to watch in all 4 games, I put them on a par with Greece!

Good luck to the 4 remaining teams (probably the best 4 European national teams).

Hats off to the defense though. Bar a nightmarish ten minutes against Sweeden they looked solid throughout the tournament. I think we can have confidence in Roy improving the quality of play over the next two years.

Was that a quarter final? Sorry I thought it as a preview, taking a look at an Italy training session. So I take it we're out; that's amazing.

would keep gerrard for his experience (compared to many others), his leadership skills and the fact he was our best player this tournement.

otherwise completely agree, barry and terry also possibly need shifting out

I think I agree in the main although I have to admit that Terry played a blinder against Italy. He still plays with passion in an English shirt.

terrys still has passion BUT he looked very sloow in some of the other games and with jones, cahill, smalling, jagielka and lescott there it maay be better to bring those 5 through
