I'm all for free speech but it's this kind of bullshit that perpetrates the bigotry in Scotland. Branding some woman a "bigot" because she doesn't like Rangers. A bigot is someone who sticks rigidly to a belief for no apparent reason and you can't change their mind no matter what evidence is presented to them. As you've said; I'm sure that Morag has had plenty of run-in's with the Ex-Rangers and Ex-Rangers fans over the years to have built up a genuine hatred of them, not an irrational one.
Doubtless the bold Leggo firmly believes the reason that his beloved Rangers WERE hated is because people were jealous of their success. He is not alone in his delusion; some have convinced themselves that the underlying theme here is that Rangers WERE a Protestant club and therefore hated by Catholic bigots who seem to have grown in number somewhat over the last few years because the last I heard they were a minority. As his old Presbyterian granny might have said, he’s talking an absolute load of ****e as usual. Hating Rangers is not bigoted, hating an individual is not bigoted, hating a corporation is not bigoted. I don’t hate Rangers, they - if truth be told - are unworthy of my hate let alone anyone’s else’s but that’s not to say I don’t understand anyone hating them, people are free to loath, despise, detest or hate anyone they choose, it however does not make them bigots however hard Leggo will try and convince himself.
