Show me the articles then, because it's crap! Note I'm not disagreeing with you or defending him however I think it's wrong to flower stuff up for the sake of it when it's simply not true.

You accuse me of not being able to know what goes on in the dressing room then unashamedly declare that you know what friends he has and how he gets on with everyone!

You're taking the piss right? I mean you've GOT to be taking the piss!

    From hughes himself.

"We had a dressing room that was a little bit fragmented because there had been a change of manager and whatever, so we had to bring that all together and try to mend that quickly."

    Also
I’ve been slightly surprised that Mark hasn’t made a better fist of it straight away,” she says. “He took them away for a sunshine break training session, that hasn’t worked. The players obviously don’t really get on, he’s got a fractured dressing room, and he’s got big problems.”

Nowhere does it say that JB is the cause of those fragmentations, he talks of a change of manager.

No sadly not but I get bored repeating it. Briefly, the tangible bit you can see was all over twitter as he went out with a number of the team for their end of season drink around London. The other comes from talking with a first teamer directly on more than one occasion.

I am sure that something will be said officially about the future of JB in the next few days. Might have been done earlier but for the England game and the sad news about the death of Macca. They don't/won't want to appear to be trying to hide the news or being insensitive.

Caused by Barton and his gang trying to get rid of Warnock. A manager is not going to come out and name splits in the group, its amazing he admitted there was a split at all, usually they deny everything. Just look at Holland.

Not just JB then so why not pop at the others too? Still nothing to say it was him and who can deny NW had lost the plot. If it was the issue MH had the opportunity to change things when he arrived. He's no shrinking violet and could have named whoever he wanted as captain.

You're making a very coherent argument '74 and I respect your view. But defending the indefensible is well, indefensible.

He also committed the most fouls for us, got the most yellows and was sent off most. He also had one of the worst pass completion ratios in the league the last time I looked.

Its no good being fouled if you jump up and get a red card, the reason he is fouled is because the opposition know he will lose it and then QPR will lose with 10 men.

there is no doubt that he has the talent if he was not so head strong but the point is any skill he has is jeopardized by his temper and that is a big liability. If it was a one off then nearly every player will lose it sometimes. what is more alarming is he his a bad influence in the dressing room before, HT and the end of the match, you only have to see what he writes on twitter to see he is an idiot and everybody is wrong and he is right, Its a shame that some of your players dont like him for his bullying and even your own manager made him captain to try and ease his temperament, nothing has worked and now he gets an extra 12 weeks off with a fine and you can bet he will rub your players up the wrong way about it.....I cant understand sparky that he wants to keep such a player and i would not let him near the club let alone the training pitch and dressing room....he must have his reasons i suppose but what they are is baffling to say the least....

Thanks swords, all about healthy debate! I'll never say anybodys opinion is wrong just trying to put some perspective on things when certain comments are made and given as apparent fact.

    http://www.joeybarton.net/barton-lays-into-newcastle-again/

"The controversial midfielder, who joined QPR in August after being placed on the transfer list by Newcastle following a public slanging match with the club’s board, has now said his departure was inevitable after he led a dressing-room revolt over an argument over a bonus structure."

Thats from someone who said today he doesnt care about money!

Barton at the centre of dressing room problems at Newcastle, funny how these things follow him around and the club gets an immediate lift when he leaves.

Just how much evidence do you need?

Mate, I'm sorry but you're clutching at straws. Led a dressing room revolt? So a number of players were unhappy and they turned to someone to stick up for them and lead them through it! Sounds like captain material.
The fact you have had to rely on old Newcastle clippings to support your assumption simply proves there is nothing to support your argument at QPR where as I have been able to show the opposite!

    @p20ddy: The boys are steaming #welldeserved http://t.co/xawItR3c

Hopefully you can work the link and then follow the banter between them all. The pic is the end of session laugh and then plenty of joking the following day. And you can take it or leave it about my conversations with a first teamer. Although for charity i'm happy to meet and show photos with the loser paying a ton to the charity of your choice because this is getting quite dull now (on the basis you agree not to disclose the player to anyond else as i neither want or seek to be ITK, they are just a friend) Sorry if that comes across a bit shirty but I'm enjoying a few Monday night beverages and this is getting drawn out. Or just show me something relating to our mutual love (qpr) :)

You do realise to divide a dressing that you have to have some people on your side?

Yep, we're going in circles now. IF there was a split and more than him involved why just keep going on about him? If its because he led it then you are accepting he is a leader capable of representing and leading a number of the team? Again your argument is flawed. Think you need to give up on this one flyer unless you can coherently and factually back up what your saying.
