sack the idiot ....he has brought qpr into disrepute and that is a sacking offence and it wont cost you a penny. I cant understand why your board have not done that already unless they want to keep him. He is a huge liability and leopards never change their spots......he is missing over a quarter of the season anyway...sack the muppet....

Seemingly they haven't got enough on him. No doubt they would have if their Lawyers thought it could be done.

What undoubted talents (other than a propensity for a punch up)? I watched him in 30 odd games last season and saw only a second rate defensive midfielder whose 'work rate' masks a basic lack of skill and a significant degree of ball-shyness. I can understand why the club can't get shot of him but please let's not go back to fantasising that Barton is a decent player pulled down by his temperament. He is a liability for all kinds of reasons.

    Totally this.

Barton is a useless lump of a player. Can't pass, can't tackle, can't do anything much more than a lot of other sh*t players can do. I don't know what people see in him as a footballer. Young Ali Faurlin puts him to shame in terms of ability.

Whilst everyone has an opinion please keep it balanced and factual. It's easy to forget he was the most fouled player in the premier league last year, regular covered most distance playing box to box for the team, highest number of passes for team etc etc. but then why let facts get in the way eh?!

He covered most distance as he was always chasing the ball after giving it away...stats dont give you all the "facts" 74...

No they don't, agree with you, although I doubt chasing lost balls would account for all his running. I just get bored of people spouting apparent comment which isn't supported in any way whatsoever.

He also committed the most fouls for us, got the most yellows and was sent off most. He also had one of the worst pass completion ratios in the league the last time I looked.

Its no good being fouled if you jump up and get a red card, the reason he is fouled is because the opposition know he will lose it and then QPR will lose with 10 men.

Spot on flyer! It's called debate and backing up your argument. All I'd say is he only really responded to the abuse at City. The Norwich one was completely unjustified and some of the yellows very soft because of who he is. You might say that's a risk the club take in playing him but it's not his fault.

Well said. These Barton defenders should open their eyes. We know hes a scumbag and a disgrace to the Club but what has also become evident this Season is that he is a Donkey of a footballer to boot. What a dreadful signing he was. Reason enough for us to have it in for COLIN for ever more.

I agree Faurlin is better, but Barton isn't that bad, he is a VERY easy scapegoat (disregarding the man city incident) when the whole team were playing badly, he was singled out, he then put in some amazing performances towards the end of the season and I would say he was as good as Diakite towards in those last few games, it's not like he doesn't put in any effort and is certainly commited/passionate, just sometimes too much!

    I was Skinman Bok btw

AH its you Skinners! Disregard that earlier attack, I didn't know it was you mate. <ok>

Unbelievable performances is a bit strong. He put in some good performances alright but only after the fans (and fair play to them) gave him the bird.

Therefore he has a lack of character meaning you can't rely on him when you need him. It was no surprise he bottled it at City. He destroyed the dressing room, stuck the knife into the Manager that brought him to the CLub and never shut his fat scouse gob on twitter. Hes a deplorable person and a useless footballer.

Its a pity that pair of Nufters in the gay bar didn't finish the job.

Amazing? He was poor for 2/3rd of the season, put in perhaps the most embarrassing performance Ive seen from a player who rates himself so highly and then put in a few acceptable games at the end of the season.

This is what I take exception to. You're entitled to your opinion as is anyone else but when you make stuff up you lose all your credibility. Please explain how he destroyed the dressing room. That's utter rubbish. He has a number of friends in the 'dressing room' and generally gets on with most. He's recognised as hard working on the training field and does his best to drive the team. But hey why say that when we can just make something up to fit our own opinion (unless you can direct me to the destroyed the dressing room evidence).

It was written in articles that there were dressing room cliques when Hughes took over and Barton was a the centre of it.

Hes a complete ****, a mediocre player on the pitch with one of the worst attitudes in the division and the worst contract as well.

    Thanks Warnock.
