Did you see him dive to get that RB suspended for the semi. He was even touched and jumped 3 foot up in the air screaming. What a pussy.
In fairness lads, its not his fault if the manager picks him. I think we saw in this tournament that players like Young and Milner are actually very very limited against good players.
I agree fella, for once Milner was actually having a good game, to replace him instead of Young was nothing short of bizarre....
I begrudgingly admit Cashley did go up a bit in my estimation this tournament but Young is a **** who can't hack it at this level and will hopefully be found out at prem level soon
Yep....Woy had a mare tonight, both with his formation and his subs. Awful from him as well as the team!
Very true, both were shìte. Carroll tries but can't help being a donkey and as for Rooney why in the name of god was he playing when he was totally unfit? Carroll, Milner, Parker and Young simply aren't good enough. Terry, Gerrard and Rooney are physically at he end of the road too. Clear the lot out and start again with the four or five youngsters plus Cashley.
You're being a bit silly now. Rooney is 26!! He's not finished, but I think he'll always struggle to live up to the hype. (He also was obviously not fit!)
I was talking about Rooney to my barber who made the very good observation that Rooney has been playing at the top level for over a decade having started at 16 and been the focalpoint of club and country for most of that time. The wear and tear on his body is such that he is now well past his peak physically, whereas normal players would be a their peak at his age. I noticed in the Ukraine match where Rooney was put clear in their half, the Rooney of old would have powered forward and finished ruthlessly, this time he was outpaced by defenders and was forced to turn back, he's lost that killer acceleration similar to Michael Owen another boy star who burnt out early...
26 perhaps but he is very unfit. Physically he looks overweight and chronically cumbersome due to his bulk. Early career, many injuries and a bad diet have caught up with him.
