TBF it is possible he is signing these players, but he is exploiting the transfer system on the game. I'm sure the AI would accept bids for their players of £0 up front but £1000 million when that player reaches 250 international caps. The other alternative is he is taking over at the other clubs and transfer listing/unsettling the players and only accepting the bid from his other team so they join him.
I've tried to sign Torres and Fierro and know they ask me for about £8m, not exactly £2m after 20 games...
Torres starts off at 3.5 million and fierro wouldn't normally come to southampton first year, but is available for around five million after the first year. Someone's been telling Porkies...
Fierro joined me on a pre contract, he came to me in the 2nd season. Costing 2.8mil. Torres they wanted 8mil and he wouldn't come to me anyways. Muniesa was still at Barca and they wanted 5.8mil.
I believe Fierro's contract is set to expire in 2012. When I signed him for Depor, I just approached him because his contract had 6 months left. I believe that would involve a large compensation fee though.
It's the same as FMRTE basically but a bit nicer to use, you can't edit with it only view the database. Think it's quite thorough or it was the last time I looked at it.
Boosting reputation in FMRTE is the most logical explanation. Fierro is impossible to sign in the Championship with Saints from my experiences.
I got him on a pre contract when I was in the championship, but he doesn't come until the second season anyways.
Well Hoadie would have mentioned that! You can't edit with FMRTE without paying this year I wanted to change my new stadium name from Liebherr Stadium to Liebherr Arena because I thought it sounded nicer but **** paying for that!
One season complete, Southampton got promoted so I'll take control of them and report back with my findings.
Listed below are asking prices (according to FMRTE which states the price a team will accept, not their in game value) Joe Bennett - £2.5m Luke Williams - £3m Marc Muniesa - £7m Nathan Redmond - £18m Ben Foster - £5m Erick Torres - £7m Ze Mario - £2.5m Carlos Fierro - £3.5m Oscar - £29m Juan - £13m Timo Horn - £4m Tony Kunze - regen Aristote Eputa - regen Which adds up to £94.5m, not counting however much the two regens are worth. That is approximately £94.5m more than his transfers page says he paid... time to try out a few of the transfers he said he did. That's Fierro for £2m after 20 apps, Torres for £2m after 30 apps, Foster and Redmond for £5m, Fox and Puncheon (I'll try to find a way to make this work), Muniesa for £1m after 20 appearances plus a player I don't have, so I'll throw in my highest valued (Lallana) to test it. Any others?
Torres and Muniesa bids rejected immediately, so I'm upping the Torres offer to £5m after 30 games (more than double what Hoadie claims) and throwing my second highest valued player, Craig Cathcart, into the Muniesa deal.
Oscar the brazilian wonder kid AMR? how much did Hoadie say he got him for?. (Can't see his pic i'm on my phone)
Foster and Redmond bids rejected - both offers of £2.5m and a player (one Fox, one Puncheon) to make two part exchanges worth £5m and those two... not sure how this could possibly work. Going to offer just £5m for Foster and just Punch and Fox for Redmond, even though then Foster won't be a part exchange.
He didn't, but the screenshot says free, which Hoadie says means he pays for in "money after appearances"... I'm going to offer £20m after 30 apps
Foster offer of just £5m accepted, but he wants more in wage than I'm allowed to offer him. This is a good start.
