You're joking right? Yes Hamilton was struggling but he was 1 lap from the end and anything could have happened whch would see Maldonado kept behind. You clearly need glasses if you think that was Lewis's fault. Or your petulant anti Hamilton stance is just shining through.

Maldo did what Grosjean did, the difference being that Maldo was pushed out wider, and unable to get back on line, due to Hamilton not thinking.

I accept that the smart thing for Lewis to do would have been to let Pastor take the place, complain that he was off track and hope to get the position back at the end of the race (either on track or via a penalty). But that doesn't make Pastor any less wrong to attempt to take the place from an off-track position.

The collision itself might possibly have only merited a warning, if Pastor had been on the track. But he wasn't, and that's a relevant factor.

Should have dropped in behind, like you're supposed to.

I think you need glasses, it was the same scenario, just a different outcome, Hamilton on poorer tyres holding off a faster car, but this time going too far. And thats why he won't win the title this year, he doesn't think, he just assumes he's got the job done, in that sense he's similar to Schumacher.

What a race. Absolutely nuts. Words can't describe how epic that race was. Valencia...I had a feeling this time might bring the goods.

Why didn't Grosjean when he tried the same move? Same scenario.

Like I said to Kyle?, the most anti-Hamilton poster ever, it's not a fair question to be honest. Hamilton's character was to push, whereas others might want to just accept 4th.

Now we are stuck with people (Hamilton haters vs Hamilton fans), one set confusing the incident as consisting of two corners (the former), and the other who can actually see them as separate incidents (the latter).

The first, Hamilton is at fault for really, but according to rules it is only consistent with this years application to say no penalty is the correct decision, whereas the second was 100% Maldanado's fault.

One circumstance only leads to the other through Pastor being stupid.

Glad Kobayashi finally got a penalty, should of got one for the Senna shunt. Too many of his overtakes rely on the other car jumping out of the way to avoid contact.

yeah, but hindsight is a wonderful thing, tbh if I was Lewis I'd probably have done the same thing, the guy behind me can only get passed me at one place, and I'm about to start my last lap, I think if it hadn't been so close to the end of the race he would've, Maldonado was very aggressive all race (enjoyable to watch) and pushed a few people off the track, I wonder what he'd've said if they'd just decided to drive into him while he was doing it. There have been a lot of 'he's the new Senna' about lots of drivers, but Maldonado seems to be the closest to being the early Senna than all of them, he has no respect at all.

you mean when Senna turned into him? I didn't think Senna deserved a penalty tbh, looked a race incident, but if someone was to blame then it WAS Senna, he'd just gone off track and cut the corner before it happened and Kamui had the drop on him, Kamui had no where to go. Havn't seen the whole of the Massa crash, but it did look like Kamui ****ed up. Shame, he started so well, still, he had some extra time to sip some zumo naranja de Valencia.

If Sergio Perez or Heikki Kovalainen had defended like that, we would be lauding them as heroes.

If you can't get back on line you drop behind the car and have another go. He knew Lewis was struggling alot so he obviously wasn't clever enough to think I will wait until the next straight to get him.

Lies, not same move. Grosjean didn't launch over the kerbs at the other car. He got a better drive round the corner and overtook fairly.

Yet Maldo came from off the track into the saide of Hamilton. Different outcome.

Maldo is 100% at fault on the track for the incident, but I do agree that Hamilton maybe should have let him go to preserve some points, BUT, there was only 1 lap to go. If it were 10 laps to go, I doubt Hamilton would have defended as hard. This does not excuse Maldonado. It is not up to Hamilton to watch out for who is coming at him from 90 degrees off teh track.

They are my two favourite drivers. Neither was blameless. Maldo should have waited, Lewis should have seen the bigger picture.

If it comes down to character then, then neither should be on the grid, i like an agressive driver, but these 2 can take it too far. It's common sense, any other driver, with a brain, would have let Maldo go, and settled for 4th and solid championship points.

I defiantly think Maldo is at fault.
