It was not a good day for the ones who started up the front.

Some very silly mistakes today, Dunno what they thought they were doing. As to Schumacher, add a bit of context, a very fortunately timed pit-stop and a lot of the drivers in front going out, before that happened he was nowhere. The person who impressed me the most though was Senna, I thought he was a bit unlucky to get penalised and get the drive-through. And maldonado, if he doesn't get a grid drop for that I'll be surprised, goes off track but keeps his foot in and drives into the side of the Mclaren, maybe he needs to be banned for a race

In fairness to Maldonado he has suffered more as a result of the incident, because he would probably have taken the place before the end of the race. That might *just* get him off with a stern warning.

But whatever our opinions of this specific incident, either the book should be thrown at drivers such as Hamilton and Maldonado when they go too far, or there should be some leeway. In my heart of hearts I believe that if Hamilton had taken Pastor out, he would be starting the next race with a five place penalty.

Great race today. Deserved win by Alonso. Why was the Hamilton collision not a racing incident?

Why was Maldonaldo trying to overtake Hamilton, if he was at the back of the track anyway?

    Who'd have thunk it?!

As for the Lewis/Maldo incident, I don't think either was blameless.

I think I'm more gutted about the fact we didn't get to see and Alonso Hamilton battle, always good to watch.

Just need a Hamilton win in Silverstone and a Vettel p2 to pull the championship back together.

Hamilton did nothing wrong, he certainly wasn't as aggresive as Maldonado was with Webber for instance, if you go off track you don't keep your foot to the floor and drive into the side of someones car, I suspect Senna will get a point.

Well Jenson continued to depress me, but some consolation from Schumi and Maldonado there. Well done to Fernando who was superb and Valencia for defing science and being a great race

Why why why.....does every time Alonso gets behind Seb the car has to fail? Every ****ing time the car fails when Alonso is behind!

Un ****ing believable! Alonso 11th to win...never saw that coming after Seb pulled a 21 seceond gap.

Gutted for Seb, Newey better take his head out of his arse and sort this problem out because I refuse to go through the same **** the RB6 had with Seb having a massive gap and then getting stuffed at the very end.

Lewis should of given up the place and he would of kept 3rd, he should know what Pastor is like and how agressive he is.

Btw Vergne is dead meat now that Seb lost the GP because of his stupidity causing the SC.

I really think Hamilton should have let Pastor go. His tyres were ****ed and instead of fourth, he got nothing. Instead of a podium, Maldo got 10th. But Maldo shouldn't have done what he did either. Maybe they both got what they deserved.

For the actual incident? That'd be the most idiotic comment I've ever seen on here. Paster clearly was at fault for that, he should have slowed down and gone in behind, easily taking him in the next lap.

Hamilton maybe harsh on him pushing him wide and out of the track, but that's a separate incident. According to the rules it is fair though (see Rosberg incidents vs Hamilton and Alonso).
