I have a very positive word for one at Hereford today an the form of WEYBRIDGE LIGHT 2.50 7-2.

Although still a maiden over hurdles at the age of seven this horse does have half decent bits and pieces of form. Sadly his former handle Liam Corcoran could never seem to decide what its optimum trip and tactics were and the owners gave up and let it go to Ascot sales where it fetched a mere £4,000.
Well now it's getting the Best treatment. They are confident that it's trip is around two miles, have slapped the blinkers on and employed the services of none other than Anthony Peter McCoy. Of course it will also have been through the tried and tested Best programme for rejuvenating other peoples cast offs and will be fitter today than its ever been.
A reproduction of his fourth to a Nicky Henderson horse last August would easily be enough to win this. I believe he will be given a very positive ride and I think he will lead them all a merry dance. He was given a mark of 104 for the run behind Liuetenant Miller and today races off a paltry 90. It will be a major shock if the investment is not recouped today.
    Good luck if you play!

    Cheers Stick. I'm on.

What did you think about Themanfromfraam today?

Cirrus Des Aigles doesn't run in the Grand Pix De Saint Cloud today which is a shame. It will be interesting to see what Danedream does in that race. It is a strong renewal albeit thin on the ground.

Cheers for that Stick, shortening up this morning too.

Intersting choice RV.... will be interesting to see how Zuzuka goes in that race too. Those two should be well clear of the rest and will be a good race to watch i think.

I suspect they want to get in some more experience over hurdles having just watched his debut replay <laugh> ffs I hope he jumps better than that or I have done my money.

Brown Panther, if you can forgive him a poor seasonal return at Chester, should have everything in his favour in the3.40 at Ponty. He finished in front of yesterday's Hardwicke winner Sea Moon in last season's St Leger, and a repeat of that would easily be enough to win a listed race like this.

MEANDRE shaped very well LTO before the testing conditions took their toll and he has a very good record on slightly better ground. His reappearance at Newmarket can be forgiven taking into account the way the form has not worked out from the strange conditions on Guineas Day and I'm taking on the big names with him at 8/1 at Saint Cloud.

Everything in his favour Archer? a 4 runner crawl wont suit Brown Panther at all, and after his last run you dont know what you are going to get today. He should be different class here but the fact you are getting 2/1+ tells you everything, I hope he wins and gets back on track though as I like the horse but I wouldnt touch the race.

Well done TopClass, I backed Meandre in the Arc, Danedream Arc looking a fluke as I suspected.

    <cracker> MEANDRE <cracker>

Can never write off the FABREMEISTER, especially when his 40/1 shot shaped so beautifully at Ascot yesterday.

He was fit and ready today whereas Shareta has always been one-paced, Galikova was making reappearance, and Danedream might end up being a one off on that quick-ground Arc last autumn.

In profit for the 5 days slightly so can't complain. I see even Pricewise had had a few winners this week things must be looking up. Well done Boris on Maxim Gorky - I see you have put up some cracking nominations !! Well done Stick on Weybridge - great ride from AP !!!

Zuzka was a monumental lay at 13/8, beat nothing in a couple of egg and spoon bumpers, why Thomas Edison wasnt fav was beyond me but Maxim Gorky was in the process of easily landing a maiden before he fell last time and I was pretty confident he would get the job done today.

Thats why they call me Boris Fenster, just incase anyone didnt know.

<cheers> Shergs. Don't let the grey clouds and mist fool you with the French racing- it wasn't that soft if you look closely at the way they were going across the ground. I think the rain had only got to the top of the surface, hadnt really made it properly soft yet.

Great work by Stick and Boris, good shouts.
