http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/sport/football/league_one_2011_2012/read_article/9775620.Parents_step_in_to_offer_Blues_academy_lifeline/sounds a good idea lets hope it can be sorted out.
That's interesting. I wonder how that's going to work. Maybe they are following a lower cost model that another team has adopted. I'd love to see the business model (eg how many players they are assuming they can sell to stay afloat). If it is sustainable it makes you wonder why WWFC couldn't have done it. Didn't seem to take long for this scheme to come up, and it's already been discussed with the Football League. This leads me to believe that this was already under consideration when the announcement was made.
yep i think the trust had to draw a line in the sand and make it clear that we are not here to scout for the premier league at our own expense with possible administration looming that said from what i hear there is a subsidy paid by the F.L and that could contribute to the C.O.E`s sustainabilty great news if it can be retained though
News.. according to elite development website C.O.E saved... link http://www.wycombewanderersedc.co.uk/ although in the gasroom they say rescue attempt has failed confused???
Sadly it looks doomed now - http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/spo...88301.Rescue_package_for_Blues_academy_fails/ I still can't believe any league clubs voted for the EPPP
Well I have to say I'm not surprised. Shame, but I was struggling to see how it could be sustainable.
