haha, i did wonder what people might think when i did not materialise after the first week. Its funny cos i havent even been within a mile of the club the whole time i was down there despite planning to see how things were going there. I really really hope that he is not the manager, he failed at WH, and would no doubt do the same. I hope maybe he gets a consultants role where he reports to the Pozzo's
One man in Watford looks stupid, but this takes stupidity to a new level. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-18561819 I am sure we can get the facts from our local correspondent.
Yes, this is a true story. The problem is that the police only have very old photos or images of most of the people 'on the run,' meaning the big guns ! Therefore anyone who looks similar might be caught int he net !! Fortunatley I don't exactly belnd in here and they are not looking for 'El Blanco!' Porr carsalesman, one day floggin cars the next caught in the net as one of the big guns !! A bad blow for intelligence and PAN (the party in charge) before elections.
Evening all - just chillin' after a nice fish curry and a bottle of SVB....recovery mode after yesterday! Mrs W_Y baked this afternoon - so a nice big slice of strawberry sponge and a cuppa is on the cards!
Stupid hardly describes it really - the poor sod they arrested looks way younger than the crim in the photo, and it's nearly twenty years old!
Morning all from Bristol, another weekend at work!!! Yay!!! Still it should be my last one in quite a while as I change jobs on the 02 Jul, still in the same place but as the coordinator on Days Mon-Fri 8-5!!! I still will have to cover the odd shift due to pi$$ poor management of the leave system!! Still I cannot complain, I just had to devise a completely new shift system, which did cause sleepless nights but they have accepted my version! It means everyone knows what they are working for the remainder of the year, which is more than they did 2 weeks ago!
Got drenched going to the harbour to see pie off - he's gone with his Godmother and her two daughters to his Grandad in France and the next time I'll see him is next month in Manchester for the Olympic football. Must admit with how much it's raining here, I thought I'd gone back in time to when I lived in Pontypridd! Just glad it wasn't like this yesterday - they may have postponed the walk as some cliff paths would've been too dangerous or changed it so that we were walking on the roads as near to the paths as possible but that isn't an option for some of them.
It's grim oop north too Barry........ Olympic torch comes today.... planning to go a see it pass... but ... with this rain
Morning all, did see the pictures of the flooding oop north and feel very sorry for those who have been on the receiving end. To think that I was out watering the veggies last night. The meteo think we could have showers tomorrow, but what do they know? The general press reaction to the French team last night is that they were spectators watching Spain perform. I do hope that England will look a bit better and put the Italy side under pressure. I will take my coffee now, then off to the far field where I am attempting to clear a bit more jungle.
It doesn't come here until July 15th. Reading the street by street route on the BBC website, it looks like it's going in 2 complete circles.
Morning all - finally stopped raining and I've got the grass cut. Olympic torch is passing through bandit central in a few weeks, no doubt it will be an excuse for the EDL and the beardies to have a stand off in the streets again.
I tohught it was coming donw the main otley to leeds road... i minute from us but then realised they bus it from town to town.... a few celebs and worthies then run it through the main bits and it gets bussed to the next place It has already been in and out of yokrshire a few times....
morning all well, the walk went really well last night, despite the constant rain, and we almost regretted not doing the 13 miles instead of 6 (which i'd wanted to do but not everyone was up to it) but with the constant rain, we felt justified in doing a short walk lol. Amazing amounts of food on the way round...the first time i went off my diet since October and it was devine lol...first stop..a banana...which i haven't had since October, then a mini mars bar..delish...moving on to a Krispy Kreme (not my favourite type of doughnut but it was yum) and then when we finished, there was a bacon roll waiting for us...they called it breakfast but we were finished by midnight, very odd lol..i swear i put on weight despite the exercise! I even treated myself to ketchup on the butty...delish! Today is a disaster...coz i would dearly love to be watching the match tonight but i can't, we have a bat mitzvah party to go to, darn inconsiderate if you ask me! I hope i don't find out the score, so i can watch it fresh when i get home, but i'm guessing the chances are slim This afternoon i'm off looking for a new car, hoping to get a new one in September
Morning all. I really don't understand the EDL. Which England are they trying to defend? Some ficticious place from the past. And as for the others if they don't like England as it is, and I have to endure it as a nominally Christian country, why do they not return to either the nation of their or their forefathers' births. It is all very well moving from one place to another to improve your lot, but to try and force a change of where you have arrived into where you left is wrong. Enough of my political outlook, it's windy here but dry. The garden and washing are done and madame has guests.
Not just wrong zen - it shows an amazing lack of thought about the process of moving, and a complete lack of respect for the people of the new country and their traditions.
Morning all A bit on the grey side here. The only torch we're likely to see here is sitting on Mrs H's bedside table...
