    Why cover the whole body????

It's because Arabs used to kidnap women - the burkha/niqab was used to disguise kidnapped women!

It's not Islam, it's erm, culture, it's erm, my own personal view, it's erm, well...

    What a load of ****e.

Covering a female's genitals? Three fig leaves would be sufficient for that. But that's not what it's about is it? It's about the repression of women's rights.

You used to be able to drink? But then some boring twat came along and decided that drinking was bad. Very bad! So said twat decided that it should be banned. That's about every religion in a nutshell.

And sure, the fundamentally homophobic religion you follow had absolutely no bearing on your attitude towards gays. Sure.

You're like a slightly more erudite Fan but with the same ism's and phobias are there: sexism, racism, homophobia etc.

Some people have told me down the years that Islam teaches tolerance. On the evidence of seeing Muslims marching to demand people have their heads chopped off for having different attitudes, promoting fatwas against people who have the brass neck to point out Islam's flaws etc. it's hard to see much evidence of tolerance.

Don't get me wrong. It's not just Islam. Other religions are just as bad. You're basically following the practices and writings of centuries of nutters with personality disorders.

But as long as Muslim parents are killing their daughters because they made bad relationship choices and forcing underage kids to get married then it's pretty difficult to believe Islam teaches tolerance and understanding. But you'll tell me that's a cultural thing wont you? Sure.

But it is common for the majority of women to wear the full burkha/nihab... it's unecessary. Dress modestly - yes but hide all but the eyes - inhuman.

I was on a Metro in Brussels a while ago and there was a muslim girl wearing a head covering _ she also had on a madly tight pair of trousers which exposed the biggest camel toe i've ever seen. Very odd......

Nah, you're right. Muslim women are well known the world over for enjoying equal rights. And any Muslim woman who disagrees with that will be stoned to death.

Right up there with people who say "some of my best friends are gay BUT..."

Away to **** back to the 14th century you deluded imbecile.

So it would be alright for a Muslim woman to walk down a walkway in Tehran wearing a mini skirt and tight t-shirt?

The biggest problem you have Ammaar is that nearly everything you claim about the so-called tolerant and peace loving religion of Islam is contradicted by the actions of the people (primarily men) who practice it.

    @Ammaar

Fair enough if that's what you think. I can see a bit of sense in most things you said. But if people want to follow those rules, they should be allowed to do so purely because they want to, not because they're scared they'll go to hell otherwise. You had no answer for critics having fat'was put on them I notice. And your attitude to homosexuality is just wrong, I'm afraid.

I mean when some clown draws a picture of Muhammad or an author writes a book the Muslim world doesn't like, and there's a death warrant against them as a result. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don't think it is understandable to be honest. Killing someone over words or pictures is barbaric. It's this kind of thing that casts Islam in a bad light.

Protect? From what? A cartoon drawing? A single book? Hardly going to destroy Islam are they?

If the rest of the Muslim world came out and condemned the fatwa, then fair enough. Did they?

Ammaar's one of my favourite contributors to this forum and this is a Spurs mod talking about an Arsenal fan.
I wholeheartedly disagree with virtually everything that he's posted on this subject, though.
It saddens me, in all honesty.

    ______________________________________________________________________

You're right, it is all there in black and white. No mention of autism whatsoever, until you mention it in response to me.

and? where does it mention your lad? If you recall you were having a benny about me speaking about autism (even though I had said I dont want to go inot it as it may get personal, YOU wanted to) This was a response to YOU. nothing more nothing less

But why pick a character from a film in the 80s? There have been plenty of films more recently that would've been more appropriate. You picked Rainman because he is autistic. Plain and simple. You're a lying snake Fan, accept it.
coz you were acting like him, I could picture you screaming. YOU not my autistic kid or yours.

The pain/suffering argument was in the Faith With Fan thread, which you did around Christmas time. Your first ban was in February. If I was going to ban you for that, I wouldn't have waited 6 weeks to do so <doh>
you cant ban anyone. You have to get permission of sir. If it was about your lad you should pleaded fro me to be banned for the discussion thta was actually about OUR kids
I didn't ban you for the Abu Qatada thread either, I banned you for the dozen or so AQ threads.
No you deleted a perfectly reasonable thread that was in the news that week, So I gave you something to do. Funny how you try and pick bits out of a variety of conversations but I hav eto keep covering old ground

Bollocks Fan. You know what you were doing, and you know you are lying about it. May Allah forgive you <laugh>[/QUOTE]

I forgoive you too, although to use the disabled (your own kid who you dont like as much as your daughter) as an excuse is the epitomy of evil. But its not for me to judge

    You've got absolutely nothing, Fan.
    It's clear as day.
You can't back up any of your claims, which is why you've resorted to smileys and announcements of victory.

I've asked you several simple questions and you have no answers.
All that you stand upon is the empty claims of those who despise you.
It'd be funny, if it wasn't so very, very sad.

says the guy with an internet vendetta because he claims I insulted his lad

Its this simple, to muslims the love for Allah and the Prophet is greater than the love of their kids. If some guy was drawing derogatory pictures of your lad and sticking them about, what would you do? or your wife/daughter etc

As for the whole homosexuality issue, its the same with most issues in Islam (see Jews/christians etc) there is no hatred for the individual its the concept that is the issue. A bit like you and your view on muslims that you highlighted above.
You dont like the idea of niqab/burkha etc does that make you an islamophobe?

Problem with people like you is that you have certain ideas and viewpoints (often based on nothing) and you feel it is your right to express your opinions. SO in this case you have the 'right' to be critical of the viewpoint of say 2.2billion people around the world. Yet get into a huff when someone expresses a view on a much smaller number

This is your hypocricy. You talk about womens rights, yet in this country alone you have discrepancies in pay scales etc. but if its all white its alright seems to be the mantra

Whats sad is you come onto most threads I do, try to give it the big one with your googling and your wikking, I give you a bit of rope and you get excited
Then I pull the rope back a bit and give you some facts/figures/stats etc and all you do is avoid/neglect/divert and come back with unrelated questions

I push you for an answer and it eventually ALWAYS comes down to me saying 'answer that question and I will promise a response' and then you stop the whole point by point argument and type something ridicilous like above.

Truth be know I have always had your number, I dont purposefully write certain things to keep you 'excited' thinking 'I have him'. I actually save some for a later date because I know, without a shadow of a doubt that you will return. Its like a moth to a flame

    I basically own you <ok>

    More bullshit, Fan.

What happens is that I point out that you're making assertions without offering a single piece of evidence to back up your claims.
You then ask me to answer a bunch of questions, which I do, while dragging out more evidence of your bigotry and hatred, which you fail to notice.
I then ask for some evidence in return, which you utterly fail to provide, while still providing more evidence of your bias and lunacy.

You seem to have somehow failed to notice how your contributions are greeted now.
Mocked, told to **** off and ridiculed, almost without fail.
    Typical response?

Keep telling yourself that you're "winning", Fan.
    You're not delusional, at all.
