I'm sorry but that is just utterly offensive. The murder of over 6,000,000 jews, and all the others who were unescessarily killed in war, due to the Nazis, is far more than a 'little blip'. I'm not saying we should hold it against them forever, I'm just saying, never refer to the holocaust like that.

I was referring to the length of time, not the scale of the disaster. You don't need to act like you're so offended about something you obviously didn't experience first-hand, and you don't need to be offended on someone else's behalf. Would you be offended if I made jokes about the fall of Carthage? I'm guessing not.

P.S. look at my surname - what does that suggest to you?

By your own logic your surname or heritage is irrelevant as you did not experience it first hand either.

<laugh> Proud of that one? You're not the first to come up with it I'm afraid.

I was playing COD online once, back when I thought it was a decent game, and some American guy was just yelling "Jew Steinberg!" at me for the whole game. I kicked his arse, and it felt good.

No, I'm just pointing out that your argument is self-contradictory. Your own logic contradicted your 'P.S.' point. Anyway this is irrelevant, I'm just saying that the holocaust was more than a little blip.

It's intentionally contradictory. Whichever way you choose to look at it (I would choose the former), I can't be held to have said something inappropriate.

Yes, you can, by referring to the holocaust as a 'little blip' in German history.

Well if you make the irrational choice to be offended by that then that's your problem. I'm done here.

I'm gonna add all the money-grabbing twits at Portsmouth to the list of players I dislike.

I really dislike Matt Harrold, John Mousinho, Alex Revell and Alan Bennett as they all seemed like tossers when and after they played for Wycombe. Otherwise, I dislike Busquets, Shane Long, Gareth Southgate, Micah Richards and Carlos Tevez.

How are the Germans better than the English? They are better than us economically,as they have a strong Economy (strongest in the EU),they have been good at football and they've invented a few things so have the Brits...But saying that the Germans are nicer than the English?mmmmm,I don't agree with you there, not from what I've experienced...I've known a few Germans and some have been alright, but,I have to say they are one hell of a cocky bunch even more than the English, considering their recent history you'd think otherwise...They aren't so welcoming and friendly as we are.

Germans are efficient, very efficient,in fact and this makes them a bit cold, they lack a sense of humour and are not as open as most English people.Of course you get different types of people irrelevant to their respective nationalities so it's a bit too easy to generalize people like this, but from what I've seen,I'd consider the English to be a more open people and much nicer than the Germans.

The Nazi jokes, and jokes involving the war will live on for years to come unfortunately because it's hard for people to forgive them after they started the two world wars, not once but twice...

Don't get the impression that I'm a Xenophobe or anything because I'm not,I'm very open to different nationalities and cultures.

It would be pretty awkward if you were xenophobic, what with you residing in Portugal...

I can only go by experience, but the Germans I've met have been very friendly. 2nd only to the Turks, who all just seem to be awesome.

Oh and that "lack of a sense of humour" stereotype isn't true at all.
