I would have thought the vast majority of Celtic posts have a clear purpose, a blind man can see they are posts to wind up Rangers fans. As sad (or funny depending upon one's point of view) as that may be it's a fact of life. The very nature of these these forums ensures that they are populated mostly by people who like to poke fun at their rivals. If the boot was on the other foot i'd expect the same level of piss taking. There's some malice in Celtic fans, of course, what did you really expect? Understanding? Sympathy?

Don't be so serious all the time, there's laughs to be had if you cool your jets and look.

Some advice though, stop saying "fact" or variations thereof, it's been a running joke on here and BBC606 for years

George Peat did celebrate the Huns goal in last seasons old firm game , as did Jim Ballantyne wore his rangers fighting badge to the bigot match in Belfast . One reason Rangers will never be missed in top league in Scotland .A fair league with all teams playing to the same rule book . can't wait .

I appreciate your point however i don't remember anything being remotely funny. And thats not because I'm "biased".

And I do have a sense of humour.

So you must realise most of it is just a bit of fun. When all is said and done it's only football, no one's dying here.

Now you've already been proved wrong in this issue. The video shows him open jawed, I don't think that qualifies as a celebration.

It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into.

Perhaps for a couple of you, simonbhoy comes to mind, but for the rest it's deadly serious otherwise this type of post would have happened ages ago and fairly regular. Unfortunately to alot its deadly serious and its also their life.

    Sad really.

As for the dying bit, I'm afraid you're wrong there fella, Harry dies on his arse regularly. (despite his homies claims of skelping!)

Also, I really don't think there would be so much debate/anger/agreement whatever if it was hibs or st johnstone etc who were liquidated. The only reason there is so much made of this is because rangers (even weakened) are a threat, a threat to Celtic but also a threat to the rest of the league as there is a good chance they will now finish one place higher.

I would have thought the other fans would relish the chance to go see their team do rangers home or possibly even away for a season on two, or maybe as some would have you believe, forever!

I can assure you it has nothing to do with Rangers threat level, not on my part anyway. IF they have been cheating financially for years then they deserve everything they get. I don't give a toss who cheats, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs or Motherwell, it makes no odds to me as long as they are punished.
