I'm watching it round my mum's - she was cheering on Moonlight cloud. She never swears but when i asked her why she was cheering against Black Caviar she said "those arrogant Aussie ****ers in the crowd thought she only had to turn up to win" <laugh>

There was nothing special about that horse i am afraid, as Mallefets has said it's a length and half win if ridden but never looked a different class to very average sprinters. It would have served that Jockey right had he lost it, what goes through their mind i have no idea as it's not hard to ride to the line.

I think he mistook the winning line.

I think he was trying to leave a visual impression because of the one Frankel left on Tuesday. He knew he couldn't win 11 lengths so he went for the on the bridle victory.

Deacon Blues would have beaten her today if not injured.

I think you are right George, trying to leave an impression the horse was not capable of.

beat in another stride, I think the Kings Stand would have been a better race for her, looked like that stiff 6f was stretching her towards the end, the way she was travelling 2 out I thought she was going to scoot clear.

Ron - I think it was either that or he was worried about using the whip too much. It was very deliberate the way that he stopped using it.

Ridden out she would have won by half a length. I can see our sprinter trainers sending some raiders to Oz if thats the wonder horse!

No Archers, Jock just said she had had enough. Maybe 1/2 a length if he had ridden out but that was the best she can do, im sure of that

To be fair lads (and lasses Princess) Frankel only just won the St James Palace last year. It would be good to see her run again here and see what happens.

She's better than that. Her record is better than any other Oz horses who've won a G1 sprint in the UK.
