how the hell can anyone say dobbie cant do a job for us...how do you know ???? he must have something when teams like celtic come in for him.......He is just as good as danny any day of the week, If it was not for dobbie we might not even be in the premiership the way he played at wembley and the forest game, so with the little opportunity he had under brendan was pathetic. If he had played dobbie more often we would have had more goals to show instead of the pathetic amount we had with danny's 15 barren games. He showed what he could do at blackpool, he was scoring for fun and dont throw that was championship football crap because the top of the championship can give anyone apart from the top 4 a game in the premiership. I dont blame dobbie for wanting to go as he was hard done by with brendan with him playing barren boy danny all the time.....one thing is for sure laudrup wont put up with the barren runs and will be dropped like a stone......nobody knows if dobbie is good enough or not as nobody has ever seen him have a run of games in the premiership, so dont say he is not good enough as you cant possibly know...
You got to go on the judgement of the manager, he sees the player during training and playing for the reserves! To say the championship is of a similar level as the premier league is crap ! If the guy was capable of replacing any of the current first 11 it would have been done. Graham is at a different level to dobbie, his work rate alone eclipses him, his goals put him in the top tier of premier league strikers. To suggest that dobbie could replace graham just tells me one thing, you don't go to games it's that simple!

Ridiculous. Pintado was never going to set the world on fire but he was completely unsuited to the role that Sousa had for a striker which, first and foremost was defending. It was completely alien to him and he suffered as a result. But whatever you think he's history now. As for Dobbie, my views on him are well known and I'm a huge fan, but I can also see the argument that he requires too long on the ball at this level. I think my main beef is that he wasn't given enough of an opportunity whereas others (Graham) were persevered with and it paid dividends in the end. You forgetting that the legal clause that we have with Liverpool knackered doesn't exist, it's a gentlemans agreement according to some I just can't see dobbie playing for us again, I really do like the guy I have spoken to him and have his autograph even. But I am a realist he is not going to get anywhere near the first team as we are looking for someone who can give us at least 10 goals, laudrup has said this himself and I can't see dobbie doing that
Not going over this again but Liverpool are not likely to have a publicly acknowledged agreement with another club only to renege on it. Even if it's a 'gentlemen's agreement' (which it's not) their word would count for nothing.

danny is not good enough brendan conceded that his and others finishing was poor and already laudrup has said the same and he as only seen a few videos.. changes will be made starting with danny...watch this space.. Top striker yes for us but poor in the premiership as the main striker. other teams had players who could score we didnt.hence the worst team who failed to score in half their matches....

I would have liked B as well, but he is a lone striker expected to do the defending at times as well. I would think B would be the target for next season
