He probably did have a rough deal, but Brendan got us to 11th in the league. Clearly overall he was making tough decisions and made very few mistakes. I don't by the way think it was a mistake with dobbie especially after the new year with siggy coming in. His favourites were the right choice I think

I would agree with all you have said, but I would also like us to offload Dobbie & Lita and bring in another striker to challenge Danny.

It's not sentiment at all, matter of fact it's common sense, you don't discard a player until you've seen what he can do at this level, and we haven't seen what Dobbie can do, as he hasn't been given that opportunity, and if it was sentiment why does Holloway and others want him? Regarding sentiment, I'll tell you where I stand on that, and you can check or ask anyone on here, that if I had, had my way, I would have kicked Pantstado out after 6 weeks, like we did with Abbott years ago, another donkey up front, but we persisted all season with that load of bull! I know a good forward........ <ok>

A quality Central defender , long term contract even if we get Caulker on loan . Imagine getting Caulker on loan this season & losing him along with Williams to a top club next season, central defender is my #1 , .... Attacking central midfielder is my #2 , Striker # 3 ... that's it for me , maybe take a chance on a couple of one million pound youngsters

If dobbie could play 90mins of football without blowing through his arse after 70mins then he could have forced his way onto the bench and maybe gone from There, truth is he cant.

He's had 8 games including sub appearances to convince the manager that he is capable, quite obviously Brendan though he wasn't. Its the right decision! And why does Holloway and others want him? Quite easy really he is a good championship player, those teams are in the championship mate, do you see premier league teams coming in for him?? If you want championship players in our squad we will in fact be a championship team with your sentiment.

You are slagging off players who played for our team, they may not have been that good for our club, but they all contributed to where we are now. I think you need to step back and look at this without your rose tinted glasses on. You are using the benefit of hindsight to come to conclusions, Brendan and the club don't have that benefit, they must make decisions on the fly.

Speak as you find, I'm not a huge fan of either Lita or Moore but both have done well when called upon and nobody can argue with that really. Moore's goal v Man City made a difference between us finishing 13th or 15th (in other words over £1.5M difference in prize money) so not exactly a waste of money.

I'm all for criticising players if warranted but we should always remember that whilst they still play for us they deserve a degree of respect, even if you don't like them.

I'm sure Pintado would have liked to kick Sousa out after 6 weeks , he was playing the way Paulo made him play & Pintado was taking abuse about it from his own fans
