Germany, they are too strong, for me the only team can stop them is Spain

i think if England beats Italy, England's really big test is with Germany, England will be outclassed in every department by the germans, anything can happen but if England does go past Italy, they are never going to get past the Germans, germany will just be too good for them. England might do a Greece( the way they played against Germany) or a Chelsea but Germany will some how find a way with player's like Ozil and bastian schweinsteiger in their team.

I mean England were outplayed against Sweden and Ukraine, if they play like that against Germany, Germany will punish them, they have got good player's who can win aerial battle as well with player's like Gomez and the dangerous Klose in their team.

For me if England thats if England gets past Italy and play Germany, they should go for it and play attacking and try to create more chances because parking the bus like Chelsea did or Greece did yesterday will just invite more and more German attacks and Germany will eventually find a way to take one of them chances for sure, parking the bus and playing defensive for nearly whole of the game might work against Italy but not against Germany.

God knows how long it took you to type that drivel. We weren't outplayed at all by Sweden nor Ukraine. Ukraine had a bit more of the play but did sod all with it- if that was good enough then Arsenal would win the league every year. Trying to press the Germans and risking exposing the midfield we have would be suicide as shown but what happened trying to chase the game at the World Cup. It's imperative to be compact and tough to break down. Hodgson is a vastly experienced and successful manager and he's seen the limitations of the squad and set it up accordingly and that won't change no matter how many people have beaten Germany on Fifa playing four up front and therefore think that's actually the way to do it.

i ain't writing off England's chances, who knows in football anything can happen, we need to play more positive against Germany, im justs aying, if we play like how we played against sweden, Ukraine against Germany and then we have less chances of beating the germans. they would just be sending alot of attacks and they've got player's who can finish and take them chances too. with Rooney bakc in the team we need to attack more, play more positively. im not saying we should play attack wise with like four up front, im saying we just need to attack and create more chances because playing against Germany, they won't let you have many chances thats why.

we can play defensive but just need to create more chances

England had some good spells in some of the first half, Abysmal since then. Very worried about surviving the extra time.

    Young is absolutely ****.

Second you saw Young was going to take one you just thought "****". Horrible tournament from him.

Better side won, but Englands spot kick record somehow gets worse still. 1 win in 7 attempts now.

How ****e was Young? Shouldn't have started this match and really shouldn't have been taking a penalty!

Welbeck had a decent tournament but was poor tonight.

Rooney? Was he playing? He hasn't turned up for England since 2004.
