i agree with that sentiment...but it is football related.

the issues with Redknapp were not football related.

i believe footballing reasons were given by the chairman so that he doest sound like a twat...with us the fans yes it was football related but i think if Redknapp came across a bit less cocky and had failed then some of those that are against him would have probably overlooked his tactical downfalls...well i can say i would have been a bit more sympathetic towards him..however his personality has overshadowed his success because ultimately i want my club to be a good place to be and not one that reminds me of chelsea and their behaviour off the field.

trophies are nice but honestly they are not everything...give me credit...i average a trophy celebration roughly once every decade. that has taught me to find and appreciate other things about my club...and that is how i have become moulded...a bit old fashioned lets say.

i cant disagree with anything you say about how far Harry took us..but it still cant make me justify how it felt like he was behaving bigger than Spurs...that is impossible...Modric tried it and got burnt too...just like with Modric..i cant fault his skill..but snce it felt like he was holding the club to ransom...i fell out of love with him...regardless of his on field achievements.

A manager's job is not just to pick a winning side...he represents the club....just like we all groan and become defensive of our club when hooligans bring shame to it...nobody thinks let them behave like idiots because we get their bums on our seats...no...we would rather have less people attending.

If one of your employees in a high profile job tried to publicly push a contractual issue while your mother was dying, what would you do?

I would begin the recruitment process to find a replacement. Once I had the right man ready to take over I would sack the Employee using a similar insensitive manner, probably by text or something.
